The sides/edges of shoe around ankle are very sharp and stiff.

So glad Clarks makes the same style. I have worn these shoes for years they are so comfortable from the first time you wear them. I purchase them two air at a time.

I have a narrow heel but these do not slip.

These are adorable. They felt too tight across the top of my foot. I'm going to order 1/2 size larger and see if that works.

This issue is so comfortable I bought it in the gray and then went back to also get it in the black. this is an incredibly stylish you that I can wear to work and casual. Looks so much better in person and when you get it on.

I ordered the purple suede in my regular 7.5 W width. Too big, had to return for 7 W which fit much better. So when they went on sale, I order the black patent in 7 W and they were too small. Exchanged for 7.5 W and all is well. In hindsight, I should have followed a friend's advice from many years ago: always order 1/2 size larger in black. Shoes are comfortable, have decent support and look great with slacks and some skirts. First pair of Clarks I've bought and kept in a long time!

These shoes fit like a glove. I have bunions and need a wider shoe and the wide width is perfect for me. I like the dark burgundy color and they are very lightweight.

These were so comfortable and cute, but I have bad knees and even a little heel will bother them. I thought I could get by with these, but after a few minutes of wearing them, my knee was already feeling it. I would recommend these to anyone that doesn't have my bad knees!

Got these shoes and wore them the next day to work. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn straight out of the box. They fit true to size. I go the navy suede & the color is great

I just got through cleaning out my closet room and throwing away dozens of pairs of shoes that hurt my feet but I kept these and will wear them until they fall apart. I got both the animal print and the black suede and find them to be a super cute alternative to lace-up oxfords, such as Doc's, for my wide, sore feet with high insteps. The sole is supportive and great for racing around city streets, and they look pretty stylish, at least to me, in terms of my edgy librarian preference. Love them.

These shoes fit great. I am a size 9 and have a narrow foot. I ordered a 9. These do not pinch my fourth toe as some shoes do, and it is high enough on top and stretchy enough to keep my heel from slipping while walking. These will be perfect for work. My heel is narrow and I appreciate the narrow fit on the heel; some others my feel it is too tight.

this is my absolutely favorite shoe -- it is super comfortable yet stylish for casual wear -- walked all over Venice on vacation in these shoes, and they continued to look and feel great -- highly recommend

I’m giving these 5 stars even tho I returned them. I really really wanted a Navy Blue but these were a brighter royal blue. They fit well and if the color had been different i would have kept them.

Loved these moment I slid them on my feet. So comfortable and not frumpy. (Some Clarks still are frumpy.) I love the Clarks that are stylish! Perfect heel and platform height.

Very nice looking shoe but I can't wear it. I normally wear a 8.5 Wide, which is the size I ordered. This shoe was uncomfortably snug on the sides of my feet. Just sitting with them on my feet I could feel pressure. Also, since the toe is tapered a bit, there was not enough room in the toe box for me. This problem is not necessarily unique to this shoe, but rather a common problem amongst shoes of this style (at least for me). If the toe box was roomier, the length would have been fine so I would consider it true to size (for length). One reason I specifically purchased this shoe was for cushioning. The description, as well as the user reviews, seem to rave about the cushioning & comfort. However, the cushioned insole is no more than 1/8" at the thickest point. Personally, I have found this type of insole to be completely flattened after about one month at best, therefore no longer providing what little benefit it had when new. The outsole is very hard, great for a long lasting sole, no so great for cushion. So back these went! I did really like the look of the shoe so if a cushioning is not at the top of your list and you don't need a true wide width, this may be the shoe for you.

It took me a while to break these in so I can't give them 5 stars. After several wears they are broken in and comfortable. Very stylish flats for casual business wear.

I keep getting my size wrong when ordering these. First I bought 8 regular, way too narrow but I thought maybe with wear, perhaps they would widen. That's happened before with a couple of my Clark's. I've owned MANY. So then I exchanged the 8 reg for 8.5 wide. They arrived today. Too long, they wiggle up and down my heal, yet correct width. New exchange will be for 8 wide. Love Clark's. Love Zappos! Easy and simple exchanges. Thank you!

I am very pleased with this shoe. My foot is wide and the toe box is comfortable without making the shoe look clunky. The shoe is also deep enough to accommodate my orthotic. I believe it will be a go to shoe this fall.

Unfortunately, when you want a wide toe box, the heel is often too loose.
