I have purchased two different sizes in this shoe. My usual size 9M is comfortable, but is not wide enough to allow wearing a trouser sock. The 9.5M is a tad bit wider allowing enough room to wear a thin trouser sock. Both sizes were comfortable straight out of the box. These shoes are not flashy, but are classy. The black is rich looking and the navy is a true navy. The heel is just high enough to give a little lift. The toe box is adequate for chubby toes.

I normally wear a 9 M but based on past experience with Clark's loafers and other reviews I ordered a 9W and am glad I did. They fit like a M. I am a flight attendant and on my feet for long period of time and found these to be as comfortable a shoe as I have found. They look professional and the price is right. I'd recommend.

These shoes were too long and gapped at the sides. Unfortunate. Please bring back the Keesha Luca, crocodile patent pattern. I use those almost every day to go to and from work and they look professional. I can't find them anywhere (8.5W). Don't end a good thing. PLEASE!!!!!!

What a shame; and I'll be saying goodbye to a wasted $51. I really like these shoes and they felt like a good fit (at first), so I was excited as I have a narrow foot, and these are narrow shoes. After wearing for only 2 hours, the fit is sloppy, and I don't have any socks thick enough to turn these shoes into a good fit.

Though I loved the style, the width was off. I ordered a narrow but the heel was wide. So if you have narrow feet, beware that this shoe is not narrow in the heel and therefore does not hold the foot. I had to return them.

They just look so damn cheap and China products lack quality. Not a good leather at all.

These shoes are SO close to being the perfect loafer. I ordered an 8 W, and the sizing was right on! The wide width size gave just enough wiggle room to wear trouser socks with, and the toe coverage came down enough that you could wear no-show socks instead if that is your style, but they weren't SO wide that they would slip off without socks. The style is classic loafer, and the heel gave it the perfect little lift. The length is great and does't rub my heels. I'm so sad to return these, but they have a fatal flaw: the back of the shoe is so high that it hits my ankle bones on the sides, which is irritating and will definitely lead to blisters. If you watch the video of the model wearing the shoe, you can see how high the rise is. Such a shame. The search continues...

These used to be my go-to work shoes. This pair pinched my toes and were uncomfortable in the instep. Too bad!

Love these Clarks flats. Have then in Black also and needed a "2nd " pair. Love the dark Burgundy. It goes with everything. Love ZAPPOS - because I have long very narrow feet...9N, I know that I can always find something on your site. Fast service also. Easy to return anything. Keep up the good work.

I love my shoes. They are completely comfortable. They have a business casual style. They can be worn with jeans to add class or complement your favorite navy power suit. For me, they are worth every penny and fortunately affordable.

I already owned these in black leather and decided to buy the black patent leather. The black patent will work for a slightly dressier look, but I would wear them with a pair of jeans too. I am an 8W. All of my Clarks sandals fit perfectly, but I have to be careful with Clarks shoes. These fit true to size for me, and do not gape at the sides and do not cut me across the top of my foot (vamp). I would not be able to wear socks with these. The insoles are not meant to be removed and I would like to have a little more arch support. I like flats, but have high arches. I like the padded collar by my ankle. Sometimes I have a problem with my big toe hitting the side of a shoe or my other toes hitting somewhere else. The toe box fits properly and there is a little wiggle room. Not that they are too big, just not that my toes feel compressed or constricted. I am still considering the navy Clarks Juliet Lara. I would love to see some fun colors too (not in patent) like I have in my Clarks sandals. Please offer red, wine, burgundy, fuchsia, purple, teal, turquoise, greens etc.

Fit was amazing. Stay on my feet without holding them on with my toes. Not good for standing/walking for over 3 hours because the bottom is pretty hard. My heels hurt after around 3 hours. But overall I am super happy with this stylish shoe and would definitely recommend it to those with wider toe boxes.

I've had mine for 2 weeks and they work great for work and being on your feet majority of the day. Much better than heels. I like the comfort.

It is a very attractive looking shoe, and it is priced nicely. I really appreciate the support and comfort it provides.

They run small and will require some break in time. You can actually see how small they run when put next to another 8.5 size shoe...around a 1/2 difference in length. (See pic where the Clarks shoe is in the left)

This is a beautiful work shoe. I ordered navy blue and it is lovely. The toe box was tight on my foot. The heel was loose and my foot slid forward in the shoe when I tried to walk in it making the toe box feel even small and tighter. They are also a bit wide towards the middle of the shoe. They just didn't fit and which broke my heart because it really is a beautiful shoe.

We've been having a time trying to find a dress shoe for my growing 13 year old daughter. Everything we've gotten didn't quite fit or she wasn't pleased. I found these and ordered them wide and they fit perfectly. She loves them and for maybe a year or 6 months :) all will be well in the house. Nice shoe!!!

These are great shoes. I got the black patent and they are dressy looking but comfortable. I wear a medium width, but my foot is a bit narrow and these are quite narrow even for me. I went an extra 1/2 size in length, which took care of that, but if your foot is wider in the toe area, these may not work for you. These are my go-to work shoes with black pants or jeans. Very comfortable. I teach and can easily wear them all day without any foot pain.

This pair of shoes was pair #15 in all the ones I tried on looking for a good looking, comfortable, good quality shoe to replace the loafers I've been using the last 5 years. Once I put these on, I kept them on for the next half-an-hour: what comfort! Love their elegant look and comfort+ feel. The size is just perfect. And all at a great price too.I can't wait to wear them to work this winter. Great job, Zappos!

Extremely comfortable. Love the shoes. My feet are difficult to find shoes for because they are very sensitive. But these shoes are very comfortable. No tightness what so ever, simple and stylish.

I ordered 11w because I have bunions and these felt great. Very roomie. Good work shoe. They did squeak when I walked at first but once you walked around a bit they stopped squeaking for good.

FINALLY!!!! A pair of black loafers that feel great from the moment I put them on!!! This makes me so happy because I’ve probably tried on more than 20 pairs of black loafers! I should probably order a second pair to have on hand for whenever these wear out.

this shoe was too big to wear without socks and too small to put an arch support into. No removable insert.
