I run between a 7.5 and 8, almost always a 38 in Euro sizes. I have a wider toe area and a narrow heel. I don't always wear wide shoes but for work its nice to not have my toes squished but its a struggle to find a shoe I don't step out of, and something that is comfortable since I'm a teacher. These are great. Originally, I bought a size 8W but it was too big and I got the 7.5W and it fits perfect. The heel and arch are slightly wide but it fits great around my toes and the knuckles. These are perfect, professional and have a slight support. The only thing I don't like about Clarks is that they do NOT have a removable insole. I have extremely high arches and a high instep and I just wish the sole was removable so that I could put my custom insoles in.

These are fun shoes! Almost like puppies and kittens! The velvet model has a rather high pile and is quite fluffy. Perfect with a smoking jacket. Or really, with any luxe outfit (think satin and velvet). I don’t think they will hold up too well in the rain though. Indoor shoes. By the way, I like that slightly larger fit, so I can slip in orthotics. I am a size 12, closer to a 12.5, but that doesn’t exist. Clark’s are my best bet for large enough shoes, and I am always happiest when they run a bit large.

Absolutely love this shoe! I can only wear flats that are supportive and comfortable, and this shoe meets my expectations. Enough so, that I bought 2 colors. These hug my average width foot just enough, that they feel secure but not tight. I wear them without socks, and they were true to size for the most part. I say that, because all pair do not fit the same. I had to go through 3 pair with each color to get the right fit (shame on Clarks!). I find the toe box comfortable, considering my foot is narrow at the heel and wider at the toe. I put a 3/4 arch support inside and they are now perfect.

I'm on day one with my pair and i absolutely love them. they are comfy and a fit perfect. i will follow up if anything changes.

These flats feel and look like a much more expensive shoe! They are comfy out of the box and have held up well after a year of wear!

This flat is so so comfortable and stylish to boot. It feels like an slipper on. The fabric is soft, molds to your toes and gives where it needs to, while still offering support. I'm so done wearing uncomfortable shoes. I'm just a happier, nicer person when my feet don't hurt. Thank you Clarks for bringing the style along with comfort, I'll never go back. For reference, I am 10 to 10.5 (hey Clark's why not offer 10.5???!) and the 10 fit true to size. The aubergine is gorgeous.

Fits just right, order your true size. The inside lining is a soft felt, so cozy. I slipped in a thin bamboo/terrycloth footbed (I like these in flats so I can launder them and preserve the new-car smell of flats as long as possibe), and BOOM, INSTANT SLIPPERS! Super cute and fun to wear to work with cropped dress pants, tights and a skirt, jeans, whatever! Seriously, can't go wrong with these puppies for the price.

Since I've never had purple shoes and it's my favorite color I decided it was high time I got some. In search of a true purple color turned out to be a crusade. I bought and compared so many styles and I NEVER found that purple in a shoe that fit my problem feet. Most of the shoes out there that call themselves purple are really burgundy or wine ~ too much red! When I saw these, I concluded that although aubergine is a very dark purple, it might not clash with my clothes, and I do have some aubergine items. My true shoe size is 10.5 W. Most brands will offer half sizes but stop at 9.5. Like no one has 10.5, 11.5 or 12.5 foot? So finding something "true to size" is a guessing game for me. I wear anything from a 10M to an 11W. I started with the 10W in this shoe. But even just sitting at the computer for a couple of hours caused intense pain in my right foot. I have bunions on both feet and a hammertoe on one my right toes and that toe was the problem. The shoe fit fine for my left foot. So, back they went and I ordered both the 11M and the 11W. Like another reviewer, the backs of my feet are narrow to medium but I have to have a wide (depending on the shoe) because of the front. I walked right out of the 11W. But the 11M hurt my right toe. I kept testing them; they kept hurting. Finally I realized that I had tested them for so long (there's an indention in the top of the right shoe; luckily it can't be seen because of the cute little bow!) that they couldn't be returned with the 11W. The inside padding is soft and thick, the outer suede is soft and supple and the style is very cute and versatile. And: SURPRISE! That soft, pliable interior finally stretched out enough that it no longer hurts. Happy Dance! These are not shoes I can walk or stand in ALL day and the back and side are a little too wide (see photo where they gap) but they are great for running around or evening wear; IE.: short to medium excursions. It took a long time to find my purple shoes but I am happy with these.

This is a pretty shoe, and I loved the aubergine color and soft suede. That said, I had to return them because the "collar" (opening) of the shoe was wide enough to make it gap at the sides (even though the rest of the shoe didn't feel particularly wide). I've never seen anything like it, and I don't know if it's just the cut of the shoe or what, but it was definitely messy. Back they go!

Love the look of the shoe but every step posed a gap on the sides of the shoe away from my foot. I usually wear a 9.5, occasionally a 9 but this 9.5M was way too big. Not sure a 9 would work because I fear the width is really the problem.

The shoes were so cute, but to big. I was sad because I have been looking for a cute red shoe. Normally, a size 5 in this brand fits.

Are usually wear a nine sometimes an 8 1/2. The 8 1/2 feet better. Love my shoes

After reading other reviews, I ordered down a half size. The fit is perfect. They are very comfortable and so cute! I love them.

The "wide" was surprisingly wide... it gapped.... But the medium width was perfect!!

They look great, I usually wear an 8 but lately in Clarks I size down to a 7.5 and the 7.5 fit perfectly in this pair.

I’m constantly between sizes...anywhere from 7.5, 8, even 8.5 on occasion; often needing insoles to accommodate. These Clark’s are true to size and very comfortable! Highly recommend!

These are very cute and comfy shoes. They fit perfectly right out of the box and needed no break-in. I look forward to wearing them.

Love the bow and very comfortable

Not sure why this shoe isn't ranked five stars totally, but I absolutely love them! A very excellent business casual shoe, stylish and soft to the touch. I have done a day in them which involved walking and standing for long periods and they were amazing. I am very tempted to buy these in another color! I got the black.
