These shoes are lovely and well-crafted, but run VERY BIG. My 4 year old daughter received these as a birthday gift. She wears a size 10 in all her other shoes, so she got the Juniper in size 11 to grow into them. They were massive, like clown shoes. I exchanged them for a 10, they were still far too big. Exchanged again for a 9, which fit with room to grow. So I’d say these run 2 sizes large. That aside, they are great shoes. Well-crafted, soft leather, solid soles. The rose gold is a lovely color, not too bright, a great neutral to go with all her clothes.

Really cute and functional! I love that they still have the bumper around them so my kids can be a kid. We once got fancy Italian-made maryjanes with no bumper and they just got all scratched up within days and prevented my daughter from climbing things. But these are still nice enough for a holiday or party. The footbed is nice memory foam and the leather seems to respond well bending without signs or wear. The width was slightly wider (but not “too wide”) than what I was expecting for a medium width shoe, but my daughter actually said “they’re comfy that way.”

I love the looks of Livie & Luca shoes so I keep trying them, but they just run way too wide for my kid (who does not have unusually narrow feet), and this pair was no exception.

These are some of the best shoes I have purchased for my 2 1/2 year old! Worth every penny. So easy on and off (she can do it herself even better!) Even after a couple months unscratched and look brand new after she beats the hell out of them at school! You can literally just wipe them down. I love the dainty little accents as well. They are so cute. Don't even think twice..... just get them... trust me. Im going back for the red ones...adorable!

Very cute! I normally buy the ruches, but thought we’d try a different style this year. They run large like the ruches and have a similar fit. No complaints from my daughter, so I guess they’re comfy!

As always, these Livie and Luca shoes are perfect for our three year old granddaughter. She is very active, so even her dressier shoes need to have support built in. We can buy them locally but the stores never have the sizes, selection, delivery and return options Zappos has. Recommend them wholeheartedly.

These shoes fell apart in one week. Im disappointed that they charge this much for shoes that fall apart.

Precious little girl shoe.

Livie and Luca have the most beautiful, well-made shoes for little girls, and they fit like a glove. Bought these for my granddaughter, and we get compliments on them all the time. They are a bit expensive but well worth the price. Love them.

These ran slightly large, but with the advent of fall and thicker tights/ socks, they're perfect. We've found these to be a rugged shoe that stands up to a perpetual-motion toddler's outdoor play. And she loves the way they look, too. We will try more of this brand.

I ordered this risky aqua color and another red shoes of the same style. It turned out I like the blue more than the red. It’s soft and durable. The aqua blue actually can go with everything. We tried it with different color of leggings. And it went well with all of them. The only thing I worried is that the closing part. Instead of folded, it simply has one short Velcro. My daughter’s last year flat from this brand has the same design and the Velcro was not strong any more after a month of wearing. But it’s a beautiful shoe for a Pre-k girl. Thanks for Zappos’ awesome service. Always my favorite place.

Cute and easy to wear little shoe in the perfect color gold for fall. The Velcro on these shoes seems to be much better than in the last pair of Livie and Luca shoes we had this summer so I’m hoping it stays that way!

Super cute shoe. My daughter just loved it but even though others said it ran big and to order down- the 10 didn’t have any room to spare in length (my daughter is a 10.5). This shoe only comes in full sizes. Since it runs wide there’s no way I’ll get away with jumping to an 11. Sadly I had to return it. Why are so many kids shoes super wide? It’s really tough to find shoes for kids with normal or slightly narrow feet. Gave high marks cause my daughter said it was comfortable and she loved the look of the shoe. If your kid has wider feet this brand will probably work well for you.

The color was a much brighter, coppery looking color than I expected. I know they are listed as rose gold, but that can vary with manufacturer, and I did not care for these. She has a pair of dressier shoes in "rose gold" by Kenneth Cole, and i was hoping they would be that color. I will post a picture and adjust as best I can to reflect the true color. In the online photos these look similar to the Livie and Luca Ruched gold shoe, which is what we ended up getting. We like the color and style of the ruched much better-it is pretty and versatile, but neither was the color we had hoped to find, which would be somewhat between the two. If you are looking for this color, than I highly recommend them, as Livie and Luca are great shoes for an active toddler. They hold up to limited playground wear for a school shoe very well when you want something dressier than a sneaker. Great support and she can put on by herself. They run true to size; my three year old wears a size 8.
