This shoes felt a half size large and wide so back it goes.

Cute and classic. Born is classic-ly wide in the heel. Comfortable thick sole. Ordered a size down. Still too wide for me.

I normally wear a size 8 and had to get these in a 7 1/2. Were a little tight across the top of the foot where the fringe starts but within 3 days they broke in and I have no complaints. I’ve been wearing them everyday for the past week for 8+ hours per day and my feet don’t bother me. Would recommend to anyone. Plus the leather is nice and soft but maintains the shape.

Another shoe that works great for my 10.5 wide width square toe foot. Stylish and nice quality. Great casual to work loafer for jeans and pants.

I LUV Born brand and seek out the brand for leather interior. In this case I was looking for a good non-athletic looking walking shoe for a trip to Europe. I liked the dressier look and took advice of other reviews and ordered 7.5 and 8 to make sure of fit. The 7.5 fit best, but unfortunately I have a narrow heel and my foot slipped out when walking. I did not have a sock on and perhaps that would solve the problem, but I wanted to wear them barefoot.

I was very happy with this shoe out of the box. It is well made, the material was soft but overall the shoe felt solid, and the design is really nice. I walk lot and ordered this shoe because I wanted a solid, attractive shoe for casual wear. The length felt true to size but unfortunately for me, the heel was too wide - even with thicker socks.

These are substantial loafers on the heavier side, so good for colder weather. They felt quite comfortable and appeared to be nicely made, but seem to run a full size too large so I sent them back.

I have trouble finding stylish yet comfy shoes due to bunions. These are a little stiff but not painful and feel like they’ll break in nicely.

I trusted the reviews on size and ordered down a half size - BIG MISTAKE. I couldn't even get my foot in. The shoe looks gorgeous but i had to send them back and get a whole size larger.

I ordered a full size smaller than my normal size after the half size smaller was too big. I think they are going to fit. Will wear them at home on carpet a few times before deciding.

Shoe footbed extremely comfortable but a half size too big

Beautiful, soft leather shoe. Ordered 9 and 9.5. Nine was too small and 9.5 seemed 2 sizes too large in length. I have purchase Born shoes for over 25 years and find that those made in Mexico were truer to size than the ones from China. This shoe was very narrow and toe box even more so. Arch support poorly placed in shoe. Shame, since it was a great looking shoe. Had to return them.

Wanted to love this shoe but it was too boyish. I'm a tomboy and thought i could make this work but it was also a little big. The shoe slips off as i walk.

I love to style of this shoe. Based on the reviews, I orderrmed a half size smaller than my size and they are falling off my feet when I walk! Sending back and will order a full size smaller and see if that works.

I had originally ordered my normal size, 8 1/2. They were much too big so I tried these shoes in an 8. The left shoe felt pretty good but slipped a lot in the heel while the right shoe was very tight. I had seen previous reviews about complaints about the fit on these shoes, so believe them. Not typical for Borns but these are not true to size.

This shoe has a fabulous design and great workmanship with a fabulous lug sole. That's where the glory ends. It runs almost a full size too large, but even the smaller sizes (I tried half size and full size smaller than my normal size) slide off the heel because the heel area is cut too wide. I'm crushed. I would have bought this shoe in all its colors and leathers (there is a suede option too). Born - if you're reading this - take this sweet shoe back to the design board and make it right. It's a winner waiting to happen.
