I wanted to love these, but since I was looking for a running shoe for stability I found these a bit too low to do the job. They’re good looking, and definitely well made. But if you’re looking for a running shoe that hugs your foot and keeps you stable because you have bad knees or hips, I would say this may not be the right shoe.

Even with the wide, the toe box was not wide enough for me. I went with the 1080s (in wide) instead. Overall true to size.

It was not clearly marked that these are running shoes.

I have a narrow heel, high instep, and need a wide toe-box. Everything was perfect except... on my first long walk in these I found my toenails were catching on the firm wrap that goes around the front of the toe box of this shoe. I trimmed my toenails and even purchased a 2nd pair, in case the first pair was defective (seemed like such a weird problem). But the same thing happened with the 2nd pair. A larger size would not have worked because they'd be too long and the heel would slip. So I had to return. Everyone's feet are shaped uniquely so I'm sure this would not happen to everyone. Other than this problem they were super comfy!

I love the style of the shoes. However, the shoes are not a good fit for my wide, flat, plantar fasciitis feet. I ordered two pairs, 8.5 wide and 9 the recommended size. I purchased them for my long walks, but they felt uncomfortable just walking around in the house. I needed more arch support and the toe box was a little tight. For someone without foot issues, they might fit better. I've got to return both sizes, bummer!!!

My recommended shoe size was 9. I ordered size 8.5 wide and size 9. The wide didn't feel like a true wide. My little toe felt uncomfortable while I was just sitting. The shoe didn't have enough arch support even with my orthotic, the orthotic made the shoe tighter. That being said, I am a hard fit (flat wide feet, plantar fasciitis). I really liked the style of the shoes unfortunately, I have to return both sizes, the search continues!!!!

Found this shoe to have an uncharacteristically narrow toe box. Usually, New Balance allows much more room in the toe box.

My main goal is toe room. Most modern athletic style shoes are too pointed and too shallow for my toes. I don't have terribly wide feet but I've had some luck with other New Balance style is wide. I liked the color combo of these but in the end they still pushed too much on the tops of my toes.

Beautiful shoe right out of the box. A bit tight upon wearing them and after walking for 20 minutes in the house the bottom of my feet were aching. The shoe is not a perfect fit for me. The area by the ball of the foot is hard. These are going back.

So bad. Ordered these for myself and another member of my family figuring they'd fit one high-arch person or one flat-footer. Boy were we wrong. Both of us couldn't stand how small and tight these feel compared to other New Balances. They are going back!
