Best sneakers ever! Low differential, high cushion, mild anti pronation support, comes in wide size, plenty of room for orthotics, good grip on sole. I wear them on my over 1 mile each way walk on my daily commute, and they are perfect. I've had issues in both feet over the last year, and I've gone through a lot of pairs to find these. The support is what I would call "relative" support to prevent overpronation. The sole is split in 2 pieces lengthwise, and the inner piece is slightly firmer than the outer, but both pieces are very well cushioned. It seems like it is designed to promote pronation, but prevent you from going too far. The rubber "exoskeleton" on the upper is a great idea! Please bring that to your boys shoes as my son typically destroys his uppers within days of purchase.

I’m about the hardest person to fit there is. Have neuropathy in feet, mega high arches, so need lots of cushioning but also need feedback which is always a trade off. I experience late stage pronation which complicates things further. NB880 didn’t offer enough support and NB went astray with the reliable 1080 moving to the Fresh Foam concept making the 1080 into something no longer resembling the legacy shoe. Vongo seems similar to the old 1080 variants. Vongo has plenty of cushion, almost too much (foot seems elevated a bit) but offers some stability and is overall very comfortable. The height of the cushion could create feedback issues on uneven surfaces and I wouldn’t wear these on complex trails. The toe box feels a bit narrow and my feet actually run somewhat narrow. I’m using the D width which is barely wide enough. Seems slightly small overall but I think running shoes are getting smaller in general. I’m a size 13 and used to buy size 12 shoes, now a 13 seems pretty snug and my foot measures the same. I think it will stretch a bit in time but you might want to move up a half size if you can. Looks much heavier than it is...NB did great here creating a beefy trainer that seems very light. Shoe doesn’t seem to require as much break in time as previous NB models I’ve worn. Arch support seems average. I don’t care much for the gimmicky space age mesh printed upper but that’s strictly a cosmetic issue and the new color choices are actually pretty appealing. Keep in mind the Vongo only has a 4mm heel-toe drop. That’s about half the drop (or less) of most shoes which could change your running dynamics a bit and take some getting used to if you're coming from a 10-12 mm drop shoe, which is the new norm. Not a perfect shoe but given my idiosyncrasies I’m pretty pleased. If you’re looking for a really soft trainer with some added support that sort of just gets out of the way and let’s you run you will probably like the Vongo. I think these would also be a good everyday shoe and fine for just walking if you’re a non-runner. Service from Zappos is great as always.

I really loved the soft comfort of this shoe and the lovely blue it came in. My right foot seemed to slide to the outside in it, however. That is my tendency, and this shoe was not stabilizing my foot well enough. I have an extremely hard time finding shoes which don't make my feet problems worse. . I am sorry this shoe didn't work for me. Women's or Men's New Balance athletic shoes are the only ones I have found to work so far. My foot is wide, flat, and large. Without Zappo's, I would not have any shoes to wear. Thank you

Was very pleased with the toe room and the looks. Much roomier than asics gel kayano and almost as comfortable

I typically wear a 16D. I ordered a 17, found that size to be ideal. As toe boxes continue to narrow, I find that shoes are starting to feel about half a size smaller than they should, this is a perfect example. Shoe is great though.

I purchased multiples of these shoes because they are awesome. They are kind of quirky,but they just happen to match my gait and foot perfectly. They are very very durable. My first pair still gets used for housework and takes a beating. I’ve put on hundreds of miles on these and they just keep trucking. They are like a suburu for your feet. Trade in the flash for something you can trust to get you wherever you need to go.

Shoe feels comfortable right away - good support for arch and initial run was comfortable.

I mainly bought these because they fit my custom orthotics so well. Other shoes are either not deep enough in the heel or too shallow in the toe box but these are perfect. I tried all kinds of other before settling on these. I would buy them again.

Because I have thick orthotics, I ordered 1/2 size larger (I had previously tried on my correct size, and they felt snug, but my feet are messed up).

I picked out these sneakers for my husband as his last NB foam were not available...He loved them & I quickly purchased another pair ! He said they are like walking on clouds...not that he's ever walked on clouds! HaHa BTW your customer service helped me chose the other NB foam sneaker for him as he is somewhat difficult to please THANKS!

I am a woman. A friend suggested that she finds men's gym shoes more comfortable than similar shoes made for women. I decided to try a shoe on the men's line. This may be the most comfortable gym shoe I have ever worn.

Very impressed with this New Balance Vongo v3 Shoe! They are very comfortable from the first time you put them on!

Given that foam was in the name of the shoe I was expecting them to feel softer and have more arch support. After wearing them for half a day I experienced heel pain on the outside part of my heels. I bought some Dr Scholls arch supports. That helped some. I plan on using firmer arch supports to see if that helps. I love New Balance and have only bought NB since 1980. I do like the look and the fact they are very lightweight.

I liked it. Unfortunately it's about 0.25 - 0.5 inches less deep than the other New Balance sneakers I have, which makes my orthotics not work as well. So have to return it. I tried a variety of sizes and widths, both orthotics did not fit as well regardless.

I got the shoes very quickly. I was looking for low drop cushioned wide shoes to put my orthotics in and these are perfect. Super comfortable and fit perfectly. They look ok but there was only one color option which was a pity.

Sooo comfortable! Like walking on cushions all day. And FINALLY a wide running shoe that doesn't cut off foot circulation! New balance has a lifetime customer in me if all of their shoes are made this way!

Fit is spot on, If you have a wide foot, New Balance is the shoe for you! THis shoe is very comfortable, great support and very stylish. I highly recommend!!

This is the most comfortable running shoe I've had since the ASICS 21 shoe.....With Taylor bunyons I need a wide toe box with soft,flexible material at the right spot to avoid rubbing and irritation.....After trying many brands this is the shoe that serves my "puppies" best...….Great shoe,keep it up New Balance!!!......Let me add that there is no one better to deal with than Zappos...

Great shoe from the start. Bought these for a trip to Fort Jackson, SC to see our Granddaughter's Army Boot Camp graduation (Hoorah!). Shoes felt great both days with a LOT of walking. Thanks Zappos.

I was surprised how good these felt out of the box...these not only look good they feel great...too early to speak to the issue of durability but I suspect they'll perform well....
