I wore nursing clogs with my scrubs before COVID-19. But when COVID-19 became a pandemic, I started the COVID-19 testing drive thru at our hospital. I knew I needed something I could bleach every night after being exposed to COVID-19. I am not just a nurse practitioner, I am a Mom to two little boys. My priority is to keep my family safe! So I bought the tie dye Crocs. They are amazing! I wear them every day while I am in PPE for several hours. When I come home, I leave them in the garage in a bucket of bleach for 1 hour then let them air dry. The next day I am ready to go. Research has shown that healthcare workers carry COVID-19 on the bottom of their shoes and I did not want to take any chances. I am going on my 5th week of COVID-19 testing and I am proud to say my family and I are safe and COVID-19 free. Thank you Crocs for making incredible shoes! I am proud to wear them!
