Based on the other reviews, I decided to order the wide width (in cognac) and I'm so happy I did! I'm a US 9 and they fit true to size but definitely would have been too narrow for my feet in the regular width.. They're super cute and give me that retro preppy 80s/90s feel and are super cute with jeans and a blazer or boyfriend jeans and a cozy long cardigan. They have a menswear feel that's still feminine and I love them!

I have a long, narrow foot. Hard to find great, contemporary looking footwear for work. This shoe works. It really is beautiful out of the box and on the foot and is comfortable all day at work and walking around town. Good value for what you receive. I've had this shoe for over a year. Holds up well; got my money's worth.

I read the other reviews so was skeptical that I could get a good fit bit I love the style so took a chance. I generally wear 9AA so ordered the 9 N and 9.5 N. 9 N way too small. 9.5 N was tight in the toe and floppy in the heel. So disappointing as the shoe has a nice style. Trotteres please bring us shoe with this styling but normal sizing!

Love the way they look but definitely runs small

Beautiful shoe, but i could barely get my foot into it. I am a true size 8 and I feel that this shoe runs an entire size small.

These are the most comfortable oxfords I've ever worn. I'm on the cusp of a wide foot, and my sizes vary from a 9W, 9.5W, 9.5M or 10M depending on the brand. These are the best fitting oxfords (in a 9W) I've ever worn. If you have a true wide foot, these may be too narrow for you.

I'm glad I read the other reviews and went up a half size. I usually wear a 7.5, got an 8. Very happy with the fit! It's super comfortable right out of the box. And so chic! The soles are quite slippery though - I may need to put tape on them until I can find a nonslip grip.

This WW seems more like a single wide, rather than a WW. The color is not a very dark navy - more like a "teal navy". It's a sexy shoe, but just didn't fit my foot well.

I normally wear size 9M. Based on the reviews for this style and my moderate bunions, I was hesitant to order my usual size, so, I ordered size 9.5W. Those were too wide in the heel. I stayed with 9.5 but chose M width instead and that choice was perfect. So, if your feet are normal width and you'd like to wear trouser socks with these, then, I recommend going up 1/2 size and stick with your normal width. These are nice quality leather oxfords, so, they are slightly stiff as expected for fine leather goods. But, they will clearly loosen with wear and the looks are very on trend and flattering for my larger foot!

I returned this shoe because I didn't realize that the top line of the shoe came up so low. It was more loafer/boat shoe in therms of where the tongue reached on my foot. I was looking for it to be much closer to a traditional oxford covering up to my ankle.

I so wanted to keep these shoes but they bore no resemblance to the sizing of the two other pairs of Trotters I received in the same shipment and which were a bit wide. I ordered a 7 N and they were impossible to get into. Forget about wearing socks. They were replaced by 7 M which fit better in the forefoot but I kept slipping in the heel. I currently own one other pair of Trotters 7 N which I used in making my size choice. The inconsistency of sizing is discouraging.

I have a narrow to average width of my foot, def not wide. I have super high arches so I usually order a 9 M in women's shoes. I ordered these in a Wide Width 9 due to the other reviews and wore these shoes for 13 hours the first day, no problem. I rarely can do that with a shoe because I have super narrow achille's and my high arch but these were super comfy. I have worn them mult times since and I am pleasantly surprised. I came back to do this review and saw that the maroon was on sale for half price of what I paid for my black pair so I am buying those as well.

I have wide feet and got these in a WW. They fit well and are comfortable without having to break them in. Very cute casual shoe. I have the black cherry and they work great with a variety of outfits.

I ordered up a half-size to a 7. I usually take a 6.5. The 7 was fabulous. I also ordered a W(ide), and that's new for me. However, the 7W was perfection. They are a gorgeous pair of shoes, perfect to wear for work or leisure. I plan to wear them with a new dark navy suit - an informal one with turned up cuffs, and a cute silk blouse. Very stylish in their own conservative way.

I find that I need a wide width shoe now. I especially appreciate the lace up factor, which offers some flexibility in how snug the shoes are, due to a bit of arthritis in the tops of my feet. These are perfect and the style is classic and classy.

This is a good looking shoe for everyday, especially with jeans and slacks. I had 2 pair years ago, and was hoping they would came out again. I purchased all the colors. I wear 13N.

I loved these shoes. They’re so cute. And very comfortable. I loved that they came in wide, which I need because of my bunions. However, there’s no arch support, which I also need because of my pronation, and which means that I wouldn’t be able to wear them for long periods of time. Also, the soles are very slippery, on all surfaces, even carpet, so I’d never be able to walk in them without fear of falling.

I loved the way the shoes looked, as much in reality as on line, but sadly, they were not comfortable. I do have extremely wide feet, but a true double wide usually works, and these did not, even though, following other reviewers' advice, I went up a half size.

This is such a beautiful shoe. My foot measures 11M, and I have a pair of this shoe in 11M. The very narrow toe box is a problem. I can wear my 11M for 1-2 hours before I start going lame from compressed toes. I hoped that ordering longer and wider would solve the problem, but it did not. The 11.5 W and 12 W were too loose and still compressed my toes. Really wish Trotters would make this shoe with a wider forefoot. It's such a classic look, and it fits the look I need for work.

Beautiful shoe that would maybe have stretched out over time given the woven material, but this wide width was much too tight out of the box. Going back.

I am 12 N. These were very tight and I had to return them.

I love the look of these shoes and wanted to keep them, but they just run too small, length and width, especially width, and wider is not available. Unfortunately, had to send them back.

The shoes run at least a size small, and narrow. I brought 8 1/2 M, they are way too tight, I only worn them once, waste of money. I like the style and they look good, if you are going to purchase buy a size larger in both size and width.
