I usually wear a narrow, but these boots were not available in narrow. I ordered a medium, but they were too wide. I didn't really like the overall look of the boots.

No support for me at all. Pretty boot though. I’m just into comfort over appearance. Thank goodness Zappos let’s me try them out before I buy.

The shoe foot bed was great, wide and comfortable and it is a nice looking shoe. However, my back and legs hurt after wearing it all day. I think the heel height may not be what I am used to. Is there some kind of insert available to give me more support?

The leather is pretty nice, but I found these boots to be very frumpy looking. Also, the elastic panel on the side is huge; not sure how this would hold up over the long term.

I wear a 13 N which is very difficult to find. Feeling desperate, I decided to give these shoes a try in a Medium (Narrow was unavailable). Unfortunately, the medium was too wide and did not fit my foot at all so the shoes are being returned. However, I did like the style of the shoe. Also, I must commend Zappos for the fast delivery of the shoes (next day).

My foot: Size 7.5-8. Narrow'ish heel, wide mid-foot and toe area, and a somewhat low arch that flattens out when I stand. I'm looking for a comfortable walking shoe/ankle boot for traveling to Asia where I'll need to take my shoes on/off a lot. I got a size 8 of this shoe and, like most of the others I've tried, was tight'ish in the mid-foot area and loose in the heel. Luckily I found Miz Mooz because I was getting frustrated!

I was happy to find these ankle boots from a brand I know (I own two other pairs of boots by David Tate). I even got them on sale (!) and in my actual size, so I walked away happy. At first...then I wore the shoes on and off for six weeks (maybe a total of 10 times) only to discover that the leather had completely rubbed off on one side of the left boot. This has never happened with any of my other shoes or boots, so I don't think it is due to my gait or uneven wear. The shoes now look awful. Really bad. Bummed that I got less than two months wear out of them. I realize that Zappos does not accept returns of worn shoes, but I really think there should be an exception for cases like this, as it does not seem like normal wear and tear. It is too bad, since the shoes were relatively comfortable and looked good. Unfortunately, I can not recommend these.
