I carry too many things so this bag brings on a "Hunger Games" style process of what goes in. I only take the things I need so if you have few things or needs something for a vacation, this is perfect !

The backpack was a gift for my husband. He had an old swig backpack that he was able to design and loved it but it was pretty beat up. He always mentioned that he would have liked if the old swig had more pockets to stash stuff as well as a key fob. The new swig had all that and he was really happy. Great pack for cycling since he is a cyclist and often cycles to work. Would be great if we could customize.

I was looking for a bag that would fit my 15" laptop and all my essentials. The Swig caught my eye and I bought the bright Arcade colour. I really like the thoughtfulness of the bag. I don't find the side zip particularly useful but I don't mind that it is there. I really wanted to put some cute pins on the flap but I didn't want to pierce the lining because the hole would be noticeable. Instead I put my pins on the buckle strap. I walked around with this backpack filled and my back did start to hurt but it's nothing new for me. All in all a pretty good bag.

I have an old Timbuk2 Candybar pack and was looking for a replacement. This is unfortunately not it. The padding makes the bag substantially heavier, and also makes it sit awkwardly on my small frame (I'm 5'2"). I love all the pockets and the design overall, but I transferred my normal daily load from my old bag to the new bag and it felt much heavier and more awkward.
