Alegria shoes are always comfy and true to size. This shoe is soft across the top of the foot and the velcro closure keeps it snug across the arch.

This shoe is as comfy as my house slippers! But that can be said for all the Alegrias with this particular sole. I ultimately bought the color "Wilder" but I did like this color as well. The leopard portion of this shoe is some sort of stretchy fabric which is a boon for tender toes. Thank you Zappos for your generous return policy.

Gorgeous shoe. I'm so sad that this size was a bit too small and the next size up was too big. It's a lovely shoe.

These shoes are comfortable: soft & flexible on top, firm soles, and adjustable velcro closure. These ate a true medium width and would not fit narrow feet.

I like the fit. The material felt real good on my feet.

They are SO CUTE! And comfortable right out of the box. Lots of wiggly toe room; my hammer toe is not smushed. I love them.

The size is perfect when wearing a heavier knee sock, a bit loose with 'dress' hose. Found the shoes to be very comfortable with good arch support. The cloth used in the shoe front is very good for me as my feet have a tendency to swell due to a recently-diagnosed medical problem. Very attractive shoe for both casual and dress wear!

The fit on these Alegría Brenna’s was good. Maybe a little bit roomier than I might have expected, but I just went a size down, as recommended, and it worked out. They were very comfortable to try on and walk around in. I liked the feel of them, but the upper wasn’t the texture I was expecting, and they just weren’t as visually interesting as I had got from the photos. Not a dis to them, just wasn’t what I was after. I have since bought the Alegría (such a great brand!) Paloma in the iridescent fish scale pattern. We’ll see how it goes!

Beautiful shoes but (for me) an odd fit - heel much too wide. (I have a regular width heel.)

I loved the look of these, but I kept stepping out of them because the heel was too wide. Will be returning them. They were a size smaller than my other pair of Alegria, so it was a bit of a surprise.

Top fabric is very soft and soles are firm. The velcro strap works well and feels secure.

I like these shoes and really hoped they would work. I even tried them on with different socks/stockings. But there is something about the Alegria brand and the way they are made through the arch that just doesn't work for me. They are very cute and otherwise quite comfortable.

These felt fine when I tried them on. After wearing them for a few hours they seemed too snug in the length. They were close to a “good fit” for me. I didn’t try the larger size because I felt they would be too large. I was sorry they had to be returned.

Glad I read other reviews! I usually wear a 36, but decided to try a 35. The length and width were correct! These are the cutest shoe ever and exactly what I was looking for. They look great with jeans, leggings and dressier pants. The first pair I ordered were too wide in the heel area, they slipped like crazy. I wanted them to work so bad that I ordered another pair in the same size. These were better than the first, but still slipped, sadly these were returned also. Thank you Zappos for making it so easy!

love it but ran too big and had fabric vamp. Was needing a leather vamp.

These are definitely for a wider foot than mine. Heavy, too.

I really wanted to keep this pair of shoes. The material over the toes was soft and stretchy and would have been very comfy on a trip I'm making in September. BUT the heels are so wide, I can't wear them. Even with socks on, the heels rub up and down when I walk in the Alegria Brenna. They would give me blisters. I have wide toes and narrow heels, so these don't work for me. Returning them. NOTE: A friend recommended Alegria shoes and says she loves them, but I ordered & tried 5 different pairs and none works for me. This pair was the best of the 5, but none of them fit me correctly.

I wear a size 5. It is good but my foot is large but this shoe is very very large mainly at the front of the shoe

These are a bit larger than my other Alegria shoes, but allow plenty of room for a thick pair of socks, so that's good for the coming cold weather. I was surprised that the top insert on the shoe is fabric rather than embossed leather like the other Alegrias I have. I waterproofed the heck out of them, so I think they will be useful as the stormy weather arrives. But they aren't as warm or as sturdy as I had thought they would be. That said, they are very comfortable to wear.

I only wear Alegria shoes and have many Paloma, Bell and a few pair of sandals with straps. I can order those styles in my size and never have to return them. I wanted so badly for these to fit but they are just a hair too big in the back, fit fine in front, and no matter how tight I pull the strap, they are still too lose even with heave Bombas socks. I would never be able to wear them without socks as I do my other Alegria styles. I wanted a casual pair so badly but I couldn't really order these in a smaller size because my toe is actually where it shoudl be , just lose in back. But they are cute. I ordered my usual size.

I don't wear wide shoes but like a roomy toe box. This shoe has one - fit great. My issue was the sole - it's very smooth and just walking on my carpet - my foot slipped. Didn't feel like this would be good on streets especially if wet.

I like the look of this shoe but unfortunately this style does not provide the arch support I need being on my feet all day. I sent them back and got another pair of the Alegria Dayna, which work better for me. Thank you Zappos for easy returns!

In the picture this looked wide but after trying on it was narrower than it seemed.I could barely get my foot in the shoe.
