These shoes managed to be both too big and too small and also not too attractive. Definitely going back

I have an extremely wide foot and Soft Styles Extra Wide is just not wide enough.

These are one of the very rare shoes (one out of a thousand) that i put on and immediately felt complete comfort. I have the most tender feet in the world. They are short, extra wide and have a high arch and tall instep (think Fred Flintstone). Plus i am hyper sensitive to my shoes rubbing me the wrong way, and even the slightest pressure anywhere around the shoe hurts me to the point of being incapacitating. (Thank you for a lifetime of irreversible pain, bunion surgery). And my soles are as tender as new born baby feet. I basically need to find the comfort of baby shoes in adult sizes -- which don't exist -- or if they do, they look laughable. As well I need to dress up for work, and stand / walk a lot at industry trade shows, and really have been unable to find a wide enough shoe that works for me and looks business professional. These would be the perfect shoes for someone who needs the comfort of sports shoes but a more dressy look. I only wish they also came in non-suede, since the fit is so great. I would buy them in every color if so, but with Suede, i can only use them so much. Otherwise -- a great pair of shoes and I highly recommend. I wear a 6-1/2 WW and have to say these fit me perfectly. I don't think I've ever put on a pair of shoes that fit so well, and can work for both a professional or dressed up look, as well as with jeans.

I wanted to love these. They are gorgeous shoes and the time box is perfect for my EE width. But like other reviews, I found them too long. They slip off when walking and the heel is too wide. Also, the back is very stiff and dug into my heel, making it bleed by day 2. I can't send them back, because my kids destroyed the box for an art project. I'm now looking for some type of insert to help with the heel situation.

The shoe color is a pretty brown w diamond accents. Who doesn't love bling! Real comfortable walking shoe.

I really loved how these shoes fit when I put them on and stood up. Unfortunately, when I walked they gapped in the middle on both sides as I stepped and kept slipping off my foot. It's a shame that this shoe is sturdy in the comfortable toe box and in the heel cup, but the middle is totally flimsy. I tried, but I could not keep them on my narrow feet (even in a narrow-width)

I bought these shoes for my mother to wear at her grandson's wedding. She can't wear anything but comfortable shoes. These were perfect and she loves them! They are a very pretty blue too that goes with a lot of outfits.

I really liked these shoes, but they didn't fit. They were too large. The style, color and comfort were good.

fit was a little loose

This was the first time I tried an extra wide, just out of curiosity, because I have to return so many shoes that claim to be wide (D) but still feel too tight on my. This varies a lot by brand, so I never know what I'm going to get. I was really happy with the width of this shoe, but I ordered it in my usual 8.5 and the entire shoe is just too big for me, even with a thicker sock, which I'm not likely to wear with this kind of style anyway. I was hoping to come back here and order an 8 to see if that will work, but they are out of stock! It's always something. Anyway, this shoe has potential and the width is perfect for me.

I am wearing them around the house so they will form to my feet. They are pretty! I believe they are just what I ordered.

This shoe was too long for me, and I am a solid 12 typically. Maybe because it was too long, it also felt too wide as well. Cute shoe though so I'll try for a half size down!

Love this shoe style. I also have it in black and navy. They fit fine. However, this pair is a little wide in the heel area - OK on length. So I'm going to keep them and put a bit of heel padding. Really cute shoe.

I found this shoe to be too wide in the heel for me. Otherwise, it was very cute and comfortable.

True to size

I normally wear a 9. after returning the 9 and getting an 8 1/2, disappointed that it felt too long also. ended up getting another type shoe.

Ordered the 12– fit like a 13 +! So I ordered the 11, which fit like an 11. Both went back. Too bad because very cute shoe at a good price.

The extra wide felt like a medium width...very tight.

Unfortunately, now I know what other people have said (not necessarily when speaking about this shoe), when they have commented that it’s too small & too big at the same time. The front of the shoe is too tight, so I thought, well, I’ll just get the next larger size up, from an 8N to an 8 1/2N, no big deal. But then, when I walked in them, the shoe was slipping off my heel! So, this is not going to work out. Rats. Narrow feet are SUCH a nuisance! I’ll keep searching. Gotta change my attitude, right? And, figure the hunt is part of the fun! With Zappos, it’s so easy, so.... let’s go!

this is a beautiful shoe, however, the design was wide enough for my toes, but slipped right off my heels--smaller size would have been too short.

Very uncomfortable. Nice looking but just feel awful after just a couple of hours.
