Nice looking pair of cap toes. As well made as I'd expect from the Frye brand. I would recommend going a half to a full size up unless you have really narrow feet, as they are snug. Painfully so.

They broke in after a few hours of wear a couple night. They are a classic dress shoe that feel great and break-in quick. No blisters or pain after wearing 4+ hours to a wedding!

For the price, these are pretty awesome. I'm sure there are more stylish or comfortable shoes out there, but for the cost these certainly feel pretty high quality.

I like the color a lot -- it's more of a greyish brown, but grey enough if you are looking for a grey shoe. The shoe is very classic-looking.

Not sure what the first reviewer wears for a normal shoe; that being said these shoes were a HALF OR FULL SIZE larger than your normal sizing. I say this based on purchasing six pairs of shoes for my wedding party. All ended up with a half or full size smaller than they thought. Bought a 10 for myself, ended up in a 9. Shoes look great, nice quality and fast shipping from Zappos. Excellent shoe for the price!

As a reader of reviews, it behooves me to comment on these. I took the advice of going a half size up from another review, and then had a flurry of ordering my proper one, and, just to see, the chukka version of this shoe for three times the cost (if I recall correctly). I've got wide feet, so this clown shoe dress look is a bit counter-intuitive, but they fit fine, and nary a complaint through a long wedding day and dancing. At this price, they seem worth it. I was wondering if I was missing something with the pricier version, but they're exactly the same (in case you're thinking about it). I'm looking forward to them breaking in a bit for aesthetic purposes, but that's about it. These will last a long time. They are rather dull shoes, but I bought them for some versatility and longevity (and price) over something like wingtips or the like with more ornament. Dress shoes are like soccer cleats, weirdly either really expensive or really cheap, and not a whole lot to differentiate; these are nice pricey shoes at a discount and they seem perfectly good, and I'm glad I didn't break the bank but still feel somewhat fancy wearing them. I bought these as dress shoes, if you're a daily wearer of this sort of thing other reviews might be of more use.

Nice shoes. Fit well, comfortable, look good. The leather is definitely lower grade, but holding up well. One star off because the brown color was different than in the picture. More of a flat peanut butter tone. One star off because these shoes are hot and make my feet sweat a lot more than usual.
