I had the older version of these boots, short and tall, in size 8 years ago. Uggs true size now recommended size 10? I wear a 9.5. I first ordered the 10 and was worried it was too roomy. I then ordered the 9 and wore them a bit around the house and they really hurt my big toe especially because the toe box is much more narrow than the original version. I decided to go with the 10s. I always liked this style for the more substantial bottom...I live in messy Minnesota and they help protect the boot

I’m not a fan of the style of uggs but these are the only boots I’ve found that keep my feet warm in the sun-zero temps of the Midwest. I have this same style that’s probably 8 years old and they held up great. I’m between a size 8-8.5 (dress shoes) and 9 in running shoes. I sized down and got the 8 just as I had done with my last pair that felt great, but these are too short. Toe hits the end. I can’t return because I wore them thinking that they would stretch enough, but they did not. Bottoms line, I’m not so sure about the size down recommendation. But, otherwise cozy and warm.

I'm confused by all the reviews I read before purchasing these. I read over and over on many sites that these have been changed and have different soles, are narrower, and do not require you to size down like the old ones. I found this: The soles look exactly the same as my pair that are about 12 years old. The new ones are 1/8" (or less) narrower at the widest part of the sole. However, they are the exact same length as the old ones. Based on the reviews, I had first ordered my true size, 8. I had to return for a size 7 like my old pair. Perhaps UGGs has listened to all the reviews out there and started making them the same as the originals again? I hope this helps. This is Jan. 2019, for reference on when I purchased from zappos.com. My only wish is that UGGs would put the cute tape up the back like the taller version.

I got these mostly because of the sole - looking for something that was safer to wear on ice. This is great and fit the bill. They are def heavier than the original model, and slimer - they aren't as easy to walk in (not hard to walk in though, just not like slippers) but I feel confident walking in wet and icy conditions.

Feel super comfortable, ordered a size larger because I read some reviews where people said they ran small but they aren’t snug or too big I usually wear a 10 in the regular Ugg’s and an 11 in my Sundance but once they stretched out they felt big and I see that happening with these. Beautiful color though! I ordered the sand color.

Unfortunately I had bought the 8 and returned them now bc the 7 ran narrow than my original worn out Uggs, in the ultimate short from years ago which I owned 2 over 20 yrs span. I ended up keeping the 7 which will stretch. My original shoe size is 8 but in leather boots I buy 8.5 and in ugg a 7. The size 8 in the revival were huge even with socks on my right foot. Maybe someone retuned and stretched them out, idk. But this style is cut narrow and in the size 8 the were wide. So I kept the 7 in these.. I know uggs stretch 1/2 up and i wear these all winter plus in the beginning I don't wear socks before they stretch.

These are cute but definitely run small. I also thought they were stiffer and not as comfortable as my regular Uggs right out of the box. Going back to my old tried and true.

I really wanted to love these. I am normally an 8, so after reading conflicting reviews about the sizing for these, I ordered an 8 and a 9 to get the right fit. Unlike most Uggs, they do run small, but the 9 was way too big to be comfortable. I put the 8 on and it was at least a half size or more too small. Too bad these didn’t come in half sizes!

These are really cute and super comfy. Warm and good tread for snow if not ice! What's not to like? The black dye on the inside sheepskin dyed my feet black! Not just a little black that washed off with soap and water/in the shower, but dyed so that I needed a pumice stone to get my toes and heels clean again. This was a deal breaker, and thanks to Zappos great service, I was able to get credit for them. So beware, if you wear your UGGS barefoot (like they are supposed to be worn) these are maybe not for you. Too bad, because they are otherwise great boots.

I currently wear an older version of the UGG Australia Ultra Short in Chestnut. I only wear them indoors at home during the coldest part of the short SoCal winter. Was so excited this style returned, and my order was delivered the next day! Unfortunately, the toe box of the UGG Ultra Short Revival is narrower than the older style. Not comfortable for my toes, so I returned them.

I was really happy to see this style again, but as I soon found out, these were not the same as my old boots. The first thing that came to mind was, "Did Ugg sell the brand to some Chinese company?" These do not seem to be the same quality as my old ones, and they are narrower as well.

They run small should’ve sized up

Not the UGGs of old. Sadly these were a much lower quality that the pair I purchased 2 years ago. The suede is much stiffer and the shearling is so sparse and thin I feel bad for the sheep it came off of. If I didn't get this pair on sale and have a good coupon, these would definitely not be worth the money.
