I have never worn Rockport. These are FABULOUS!. I do NOT have good feet and they fit perfectly to size in my 7 1/2. plenty of toe box room, and not too loose in the heel - THIS is a big deal for me, because I have small heels and ankles. Width is perfect for me, but I have ave. med width feet. Extremely comfortable right out of the box. I am NOT a runner, but wear these for any walking. AND to top it off, they are simply GORGEOUS. On my computer, the colored metallic looks like a rose color - and I'm so glad it's NOT, in person. It is a beautiful rust color. My only very slight complaint is the black on top and heel is suede so it does tend to pick up dirt or whatever and I have already wiped it off a few times to keep that gorgeous look - the upside, is that the black is VERY dark due to the suede so provide a lovely contrast for the rest of the shoe - Style Style Style in spades! And comfort too? Who Knew??? As for arch support, at first I thought it didn't have much, (I DO have high arches but don't wear orthodics), but after wearing these for several hours, I could feel the good arch support. The sole feels firm without feeling hard at all. I took a chance on these, (thanks to Zappos BEST return policy,) because there was absolutely no info on them and I had no experience with Rockport - So glad I did!

I ordered these in 9.5 W in the metallic color and they are perfect. I have a wide foot, and the wide version accommodates that. They have an amazing insole that doesn't require me to put in my custom orthotic. Also, Rockports often look kind of old fashioned or utilitarian, but these are really attractive, with the copper and bronze bits. Really impressed and definitely worth the money. Even my stylish 20 something daughters felt I didn't buy grandma shoes this time, which I often seem to because I have problem feet.

I really like these shoes. I ordered the bronze color, and they are a great shimmery neutral shoe. I don't love that the sole is white, as it detracts from the stylishness of the rest of the shoe. I have a wide forefoot and these have plenty of room! I didn't even have to order the wide width. They are comfortable and very supportive, and I can tell they will be great for walking around Europe. I would absolutely recommend these for someone who wants a retro sneaker that is a little bit glam and fits a wider foot.

Handsome looking shoe. After suffering from Achilles Tendonitis for the last 7 months, I learned two weeks ago that the cause was not medical,the cause was my too soft,too low back shoes. These are going to Canada with me this morning, and I am looking forward to being pain free.

Fit and size are perfect. Lots of toe room and room for bunion and my toes do not touch end as they do in Clark's. I don't think Rockport shoes hold up for long, but these shoes will do just fine for now and the price is certainly right.

Perfect shoes for pants, dresses or skirts. I’m 54 years old and these shoes are so-so-so chic, and NOT trendy. I’m very particular about my wardrobe and I always try to ensure that I wear things that are “age appropriate.” I purchased the navy blue. They are a unique, dark, beautiful shade of blue. My foot is wide and my heel is narrow. I over pronate on both feet and have a large bunion to deal with. My usual size fits very comfortably. I’m so happy with these shoes, I’m buying the black ones too.

These shoes were perfect the minute I put them on. They are super cute and extremely comfortable. So happy to have purchased and would purchase again

I am thrilled with this shoe. I have a very hard foot of fit. Very wide in toe area and narrow heal. These felt good right out of the box. I could not ask for a better fit. They have style to them and feel like wearing slippers. I am never worn Rockport before. I got the black. Will be going back for the neutral. I am so happy with these shoes! Give them a try. I promise you will not be sorry.

Returned 7.5W for 7WW and now fits perfectly. Have problem feet; size varies with different brands and styles. Comfortable right out of box (a must)! Like the orthotic. The bronze is a bit bright, but they're interesting and will work!

Fit great and are super comfy. I was in need of a nice looking pair of trainers to wear everyday that would be supportive for walking a lot. These fit the bill perfectly!

I can't say enough about these particular sneakers. I have them in black as well. First, they are just GORGEOUS - most of us like this factor, right? The suede part of the blue is a rich deep color and the contrasting copper piping is such a special touch for a truly classy, stylish sneaker look. The size is PERFECT for my 71/2 beat up feet. LOTS of toe room. I have an average width foot and there is no rubbing on any toes - pinkies or otherwise. I could wear them right out of the box - no break in period. What I especially like about these sneakers is while I wouldn't say the arch support is as high as my Alegria sneakers, there's enough for my feet (and my chiropractor insists I have high arches) and additionally they feel very firm overall and seem like they are substantial - this is hard to describe. I'm not a runner or much of a walker - I've recently had many surgeries and wear these for my P.T. visits and am extremely comfortable over many hours of wearing them.

The fit is true to size - I wear 71/2 M. These are absolutely PERFECT sneakers. They are comfortable right out of the box and very consistent regardless of color. I'm donating some other sneakers because I just bought the navy, copper and taupe - and already have the black. AND they are all gorgeous. I can't comment on how they are for running or "exercise" walking. What I can say is that I've had 11 surgeries in 2 years and one quite recently with a 4 month recovery if all goes well - and comfort in my shoes going through physical therapy is PARAMOUNT and I couldn't be happier. I like Allegria very much also because of all the room in the toe box and width - even though I have a Med. width foot. These Rockports are more form fitting, but not tight and have a very firm feel in the sole, but not hard.

These shoes are SO comfortable! I love them. I have wide feet and I have a job which has me on my feet all day. My feet feel as comfortable at the end of the day as at the beginning. I love these shoes.

Love these! My feet are small but extremely wide and it’s hard to find cute styles. I’ve never considered Rockport before but I am glad I did! They’re quite a nice color — navy with some bronze accents. Very sharp. But more importantly, they were wide enough in the toe box and super comfortable right out of the box. I’ve walked A TON in these and they are holding up and just as comfortable as when they were new. Would love to see more colors.

I was a bit skeptical ordering this pair for my new walkers but I am super happy I took the chance. They are cute and comfy. I have a high instep and although it’s not the best arch support I’ve ever had, it’s far from the worst.

These shoes are so incredibly comfortable I am able to walk and stand for long periods of time. I have just a bought a new pair to bring with for a 2 week vacation. These are pretty cute, too! I like the colors and the style isn't too orthopedic.

These shoes were comfortable from the word "go." I look forward to walking more.

I like the sole - a little firm & a little cushioning. Unfortunately, this style (even in a Wide) is not working for me. The overlapping stitching near "Tailor's Bunio (below pinky toe) is my problem. The heels rubbed a bit, but that could potentially be solved with Heel Cups. It is a nice lace-up Winter shoe. My feet Wide toes, need High Toe Box, and Narrow heels.

Not a bad shoe but returned due to color. A little too shiny for my taste. Fit was almost perfect, a tad wider than desired on my narrow feet. I would buy again in another color choice.

The Round Toe & High Toe Box are GREAT. The heel is fine (not too loose for my Narrow heel). I am returning & will order a "Wide". I now have a "Tailor's Bunion" on one foot. These are snug in that spot (or have stitching in that spot). I know that Rockport has changed over the years. Last Winter, I heard that Rockport had a NEW owner who was known for "turning around" shoe companies (such as: bringing them back to Former quality). Just went to check my facts BEFORE writing this review: seems like Rockport was sold again to another Shoe Group. So.......I will keep my eyes out for Good things to come for people like me who need: wide toe boxes and High Toe boxes and a firmer sole. Many years ago: I always wore Rockport sandals and some of their other styles. My mother (in her 80's) ONLY wore the lace-up Pro Walker. This shoe reminds me of the Pro Walker.

loved the look of these shoes, nicer than the online photo. however, i need to add my orthotics, and no matter which size i tried, the shoes were not comfortable. they seemed to roll inwards at the mid-foot - very uncomfortable. wish i did not have to return them.

I got these in taupe and am not a fan of the glittery metallic look of all the leather except at the back and toe top. They fit Ok, maybe a tad tight in the left toe box where I have a bunion but that's not the fault of the shoes I do wish they had the extra hole to allow for a heel lock when lacing, as my heel is very narrow and it's hard to get them snug enough to avoid rubbing a blister there. I'm returning them.
