Really cute boots, but they do feel very narrow compared to most ugg styles. They even feel more narrow than the "slim" ugg shearling styles I have, not sure if this is because the front of the boot is a harder leather outside? I sized up a whole size to accommodate and it's better but not loose and still not super roomy. The 8.5 in these feels comparable to the 8 I had from this same style last year in both length and width. Weird. I was very disappointed to note that the shearling lining feels noticeably thinner and less plush, something I've been noticing in all my recent purchases of ugg footwear lately. The footbed of last year's model is so much softer, thicker and plush than this new version. I've had so many ugg boots and shoes over the years and I'm so disappointed to see why people have been complaining that ugg quality has been declining. I do really like that the cuff of the current boot has a contrasting grey color versus the all black from last year, definitely ups the style factor.

These fit well and were true to size. They felt snuggley warm enough. However, the seam where the bottom part of the boot and the top part meet rubbed my instep. I would also prefer more arch support. The materials were high quality and the boot felt light and was easy to walk in. They were also quite stylish.
