Leather is nice and flexible, not stiff at all. I had to tighten the buckles to the smallest setting, because the wide calf is really wide, and my calves aren't all that wide. Ordering a pair in regular calf width for comparison. Nice boots, really love the styling.

I have been looking for a new brown boot...I've disliked so many and finally really like this one. Sadly I'm returning them though. Prior to ordering, I read through reviews and chose wide calf because my calfs are pretty muscular & it sounded as if many thought this wide calf still fit a little tight - I was concerned they'd be too tight on me too. Welp...I was wrong :( There was a ton of room, even with my jeans on. I will be looking to get this boot without the wide calf though. The style is great.

As other reviews have mentioned, they run about 1/2 size small and more narrow than most. I had to send the first ones back and order up.... if you order up, you’ll be glad you did! I love the style and color!

I felt like Goldilocks with these boots. I tried a half size larger than my normal, plus I tried the W option. I usually wear a 9, so I tried a 9.5 W (based on other reviews). They were too small, by a LOT. I tried 3 different pair, the last being 9 WW, and these are too big, but at the time the 8.5 WW was out of stock. That size came back in stock the NEXT DAY after I decided to go ahead and wear them for the first time. Width-wise the 9 WW fits perfect, but is far longer than the 9.5 W. The 9 WW is at least a half size or more too long, but fits more like a 9 M in the width. They are beautiful boots made of high quality leather and the color is beautiful. I won't wear faux leather because they don't let my feet and legs breathe and tend to last a fraction of the time of real leather. My only criticism of the boots is the way-off sizing.

I've got wide calves, so it can be tricky to find boots that come up my legs that close. These do the trick. They fit, no problem, with room to tuck in jeans and a bit more space to spare. But even just with tights, they don't slouch. They're cute, comfortable, and a bargain price. They've also got a bit of lining for warmth. Very happy with the purchase.

I have a pair of suede wide calf wide width boots i purchased last year. My feet are on the chunky side. They were just right in the calf and extra roomy. I can wear thick socks and have extra room. I also purchased a pair of wide calf in medium width. They were so tight my feet went numb. I purchased these Jessie in wide calf wide width and they were just as tight. I could barely get my foot in with a stocking. Sadly i had to return them. The boots a very nice and nice quality.

I've tried on other wide calf boots from this brand, but these are REALLY WIDE in the calf. Way too wide. I love them but I'll have to send them back.

The boots look great. Soft leather, very comfortable. They run a tad small, so I order a half size larger as well. I kept the larger size, returned the smaller size with no problem, and I am very happy!

This is a very nice boot. I have larger calves and this fit perfect. The only problem was it was tight on the foot. I always wear a medium width but I ordered the wide and it worked much better.

I just liked this one less than the other Naturalizer one I found, which fit beautifully. This was seemed stiffer, and my heel slipped up when I walked. I can't wander Paris in boots that give me blisters; not willing to take the risk. Shaft plenty wide for my athletic calf.

The boots are comfortable, but the design is just sort of 'meh', much more casual than I was looking for. The color was quite a bit lighter than I was expecting. The wide calf is nice for my 16 in calves, and the boots felt true to size. Unfortunately, these are going back.

Gorgeous boots! Tight fit. I ordered an 8.5 Wide and the boot feels very tight on both feet. I can usually get away with a normal 8.5 but ordered Wide to slide more room for socks. I'm not sure I'll be able to wear socks unless they stretch significantly. The calf width is definitely wide, didn't have any issues zipping up and I do have wide calves. I would exchange for a 9 but they are out of stock. Disappointed bc these are really great looking boots!!

Lovely boots, but could not zip up the last 3 inches due to my 19" calf. FYI: short, large legs.

Calf fit was large on my 15" calf with jeans.

I love love love these boots! As a previous poster noted, I wish the arch supports were more robust, but they are pretty comfortable as-is. I was able to zip them up over jeans right out of the box, without any pressure on the elastic gusset, which is new for me. The one thing I wanted to note is that the chocolate leather is more of a milk chocolate than a dark chocolate, and the banana bread is more of a caramel. Colors are great! Just, lighter than they appear online. I know every screen is a little different, but I looked at the colors on two different monitors plus my iPhone prior to purchase and was still surprised when they arrived that the color was much lighter than I anticipated.

Awesome color! They are marked as wide calf and they did for but a bit more snug than other wide calf boots I have tried on.

I've always believed I had a wide calf. The sizing said the calf diameter was 15.5", my measures 15". When I put them on they looked ridiculously loose around my calf. They would have been wide with jeans tucked in. I wanted to wear them with tights/leggings. Considered re-ordering in the regular width, but found another style that didn't have all the buckles...so opted to order those instead.

Beautiful boots - however, not wide calf as stated. I don't have huge calfs but I can't get them zipped even half way up. Returned them immediately. Wide with in the foot area was fine.

Wide leg calf was still too small to zip up with skinny jeans. I could't even do it with just knee high socks.

I am in love with this boot!!! HOWEVER, sadly I have to return them for a half size larger. I am considering even a full size. These boots are so cute and comfortable! A staple for every wardrobe!!

Love the style of these boots!! I had originally ordered the regular calf and it was hard to zip all the way so I exchanged for the wide calf. The wide calf is a little big and a has more slouch to it above the ankle, not too bad though. I wish it was just a tad slimmer but with jeans tucked in they’ll be fine. I also ordered the banana bread Color which are gorgeous. The heel is a great height and they fit my feet true to size.

Had to return these due to the shaft being slightly too tight, tried on with thin knee socks so definitely would not have fit over jeans/leggings. The boot was nice leather and appeared quality made. Leather was stiff enough that sagging didn't seem that it would be an issue.

Ran a little big. Style is nice for a wide calf. Will hopefully soften up with wear. Color is good. Cushioning very good
