The boot is advertised as a wide calf boot, however, it fits very tight on my calf; I almost couldn't zip it up. I'm hoping the leather will stretch enough so I've decided to keep them. I don't know what the industry definition of a wide calf is but my calf is definitely wider than what Naturalizer considers as a wide calf.

I have a 15.5" calf. Most wide-calf boots are too big, while regular sizing is too small. This was perfect, with some room for bulky over-the-knee socks or jeans. I wish there was a bit more cushion and arch support, but this is easily remedied with an insert. The color is beautiful and the first time I wore them, I walked about 4 hours and had no complaints. Excellent choice!

It is tricky to find cute boots in a size 11 wide with wide calf uppers. These hit the mark!! I wore these straight out of the box for 2 hours at the pumpkin patch with only minimal rubbing to break in. That is almost unheard of for me! The real leather is beautiful and doesn’t look cheap and shiny like the faux ones do. Thank you Naturalizer for showing us big foots the love <3

I may just start crying. I'm right under 5 feet, with teeny feet (size 4-4.5) with "thick" calves. And these wide calf boots fit! I have tried for years to find riding boots at a reasonable price. I'm sold. Thank you Zappos! Thank you Naturalizer! Now I need to buy all the teeny sized wide calf boots now.

I purchased these boots for my girlfriend for Christmas and had to return them. Although I cannot attest to how they fit or overall comfort, I can say they are not on the larger side of "wide-calf". I did extensive shopping and comparing and was disappointed at the fit of these boots. Her calf measurements were 16.5" and 17" respectively and these were not close to fitting. Had to return and buy a different style.

Comfortable right out of the box. These classic boots are my new staple for fall. Love them!

Great boots. A true wide calf and they zipped up perfectly. The leather is soft and the buckles are nice addition, making them look like a riding boot. They are very comfortable and required no breaking in. I sprayed them with a water resistant the night prior to wearing them in the rain and they didn't spot at all. My only complaint is that the color is not as dark as pictured. The leather is way more tan than the tawny in the pic. I am keeping them because they fit well and are comfortable but they are not the color I thought i was ordering.

The boots would have been perfect for me however, I need a wide in a size 4 1/2. The huge problem for me is size 4 1/2 or even size 5's are not available in any boot or shoe, in a wide. I am a 54 year old petite woman, that would like to wear adult footwear.

Love these boots!! However they run big!! I got a 7 W, I’m not sure if I got a 7m or 6.5m if would be any different. I decided to keep the larger size because I am pregnant and have a feeling my feet will get bigger!! Super comfy and cute!!

I liked the item, but the one thing preventing me from 5 stars overall the calf’s were not wide enough.

Nice soft leather, zipper works well. I wish they had more arch & cushioning, but quite tolerable compared to skimpy footwear. I'm just used to Merrell's which generally have more. I am keeping these & would buy again.

Loved these so much I bought them in black too! My calf is a little wider than a “standard” size but too small for a lot of the wide calves. If you need a really wide calf boot these probably aren’t for you.

I love everything about these boots....the fit, the color, the leather. HOWEVER, I have to return them as they wide calf is too wide for me. I'm a plus size apple shape with muscular legs and I guess my calves aren't as wide as I thought they were. I have purchased wide calf boots in prior years that worked just fine for me but these were definitely a couple inches wider than I needed. My calves are just under 17" wide at their widest.

LOVE THE STYLE AND QUALITY! It is a true knee high boot. Purchased a size 9 wide calf (fits great in the calf area), medium (B) foot. Very narrow, at least for my feet. Hurts in the foot area. I guess I should have gotten not only the wide calf, but the wide foot as well. Looks like the wide foot is out of stock! I AM SO SAD TO HEAR THAT.

I've been searching for a boot like this for a long time and happened to run across these. I immediately put them on after arrival and was not disappointed in the look and overall feel. They're a little tight in the calf (wide-calf version) but not so much that I couldn't get them zipped. I've been wearing them all day, walking all over work and they've been super comfortable. I have trouble finding shoes and boots to fit. I tend to have wide feet with a high instep and issues with arch support and my Achilles. These have been awesome and comfortable all day. I'm not worried about the tight calf since they're obviously made of a nice quality leather and they'll stretch just a bit. Also, the buckles on the calf are usable buckles for additional adjustment. I measured my calf at the widest point before buying these to make sure the wide-calf would fit. The information listed above says they're 17 inches.

After reading all the reviews, I ordered a 7WW, since many said they run large. I could barely get my foot in it, so clearly needed a 7.5. I can usually wear 7 in round-toed shoes, but 7.5 in most other shoes. I have a high instep and these were very tight top to bottom, so I don't think a half size large would help much. They are also for wide calves. Mine measures 15 in. and they were very tight on me - almost couldn't zip them up. There would be no room to wear tights or anything under them. The boot is very attractive, so I'm sadly returning them and won't re-order. The search continues for a boot that fits me.

These were true to size and lovely, but I need X wide calf boots, sadly.

The hardware is very nice. The boot shaft is soft, not stiff, and the shaft is wide and flexible enough for my big calves! The rounded toe makes my wide foot look more slender. Like very much.

Great fit. Size great. Leather wonderful. Sad. I ordered the wrong color and now they are gone.
