I am SO disappointed! I have had great luck with Zappos over the years; however, this time I struck out. I ordered these and when I got them I could not get the zipper on the left boot to work. After struggling with it for several minutes, it finally zipped. The next time I went to wear them, it would not budge. I tried everything and spent about an hour doing so -- to no avail. I returned them for an exchange (same size, style, color), which was very prompt. The second pair did the same thing on the same left boot!! It must have something to do with a seam that meets the zipper. I just received them and I am sending them back in the morning. I hope other people have better luck.

I’m in agreement with the other 1 star reviews. This boot, and its cousins with shorter staffs, us gorgeous; truly stunning. That it’s also weather proof and dressy blew me away. But where this boot also blew me away was how utterly uncomfortable it is. When I tried to walk in the shorter iteration of this boot, I almost fell because there was no flexibility in the ankle. How do you walk when your ankle is in a vise grip, and there’s no way for the bottom of the foot to roll with each step? In THIS version, the toe box is so shallow my toes were squashed against the top, so narrow my toes were smooshed together from both sides of the shoe. Save yourself the trouble of your inevitable return of this boot. Don’t buy it.
