I really, really debated about which size to buy so I bought a size small in purple and a size medium in garnet. I'm 5' 4" tall and 132#. (Normally, I wear both a size medium and a size large Columbia full zip women's fleece depending on how tight I want the fit and sometimes I layer a large over a medium). With these jackets, I can wear a medium size full zip fleece underneath the size small purple jacket as well as the size medium garnet jacket. Both fit, though the garnet medium jacket with the medium fleece underneath it is more comfortable (looser). I would say the purple size small jacket fits me better if I wear the jacket alone. I feel that the look is more tailored and looks feminine. I would agree with other reviewers that the sleeves are a bit long (the sleeves of the size small jacket come about halfway down my hand while my fingers are almost completely covered in the size meduim jacket). Hope this helps someone else.

I was tired of looking for a medium weight jacket and only finding puffer style jackets. This one is similar to one I used to have. I love the cut, the zipper pockets, the drawstring waist and the cuffed wrists. This is exactly what I wanted.

The Kruser Ridge jacket is lightweight but well insulated for colder temperatures. It is sized as expected and the color is very nice . The cut and style are quite attractive.

Ordered my normal size and the fit is perfect. So soft and very comfortable. Nice looking jacket. Flattering.

Well made but sizes have gotten huge. I'm 5'3", 125 and the small was way too big, had to return

I was nervous that the softshell would be too stiff for comfortable daily wear like the similar North face one I own, but it's everything I hoped it would be and more! Soft inside lining that's not too thick, and flexible outside. I now wear this almost every day at home and at the office and I have 0 complaints!!
