I wish they came in straight sizes instead of S-M-L. Also wish they came in gray. Love the fabric and the capri length but the size M was way too tight in the waist. It actually hurt. The body fit but I returned them and got a size L which is too large everywhere but I am keeping for an "in the house" pair of pants.

Normally I wear an 8. I ordered a M. Body fit fine but the waist was way too tight. It hurt! So I returned them for an L. The L is way too big on me. They need more sizes than S,M,L. But I love the lightweight stretchy fabric. Also would prefer gray. The nocturnal is very dark blue.

I really love the first pair of these capris that I bought a year or two ago. Since then I've purchased two more in different colors, but they both have been smaller than the original pair. It's disappointing because the first ones were perfect. This has happened with other Columbia items I have: When I buy a second color, the sizing is different than the original. Not what I'd expect from this brand. Otherwise, I really like the fabric quality of these; it's light and comfortable.

I wish these capris were a little longer, and not so tight in the waist. I ordered my usual size for Columbia, but there is no give in the waist. They are well made however, and were a great price.

I have the tan and the gray models of these pants. I love the fit and comfort and style of them and have worn and washed them several times. I bought the black ones, same size, and wore them for the first time last week. They're smaller in the waist than the tan and gray ones and the stretch waist isn't nearly as stretchy. They pinch my waist and the wide waistband rolls over. I don't know if the actual elastic is shorter or if its because the elastic isn't as stretchy, but I don't like them. I have several pair of Columbia pants/shorts and have noticed that the size often isn't consistent. When you order online, you want assurance that they'll fit. Columbia does NOT pay to return/exchange them.

Having already purchased two pairs of these, I made the mistake of not looking them over before removing the tags and throwing out the receipt and packaging. They were ripped in two places in the seem. I have no way of returning them. So now I have to pay someone to fix them. Disappointed.

The size Large is a 12-14 and was very baggy in the seat and thighs. I really need a 10-12 but that isn't the way these capris are sized.

I have worn Columbia pants and capris in a size 2 with a great fit. These were the same fabric but cut to fit much too tight to wear in public. Because of the stretch they were comfortable, but I am returning because of the skin tight fit.

Overall, I really love these capris. They are light-weight, dry quickly and a very flattering. However, DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER! They sink pretty drastically. Also, the stitching started coming undone around the pockets after about a month of wearing them.

These capris are very lightweight and functional but very unflattering. I'm going to keep them for very hot days but the cut is strange and the length is odd.

Ordered a small. I'm a size 2 and could not get it pass my thighs!

Not right fit. I felt these simply didn't have a flattering fit. I wish they had better pocket for my phone. The waistline was a bit big. The way they ended at the area below the knee was not tapered enough. I returned them.

I am 5'2" and slightly over 100 lbs. these pants were way to tight.

These capris are too snug around the leg for my comfort. I was hoping for a comfortable pair of shorter pants to wear during the summer. I have a pair of Columbia capris that have an adjustable cord around the leg bottoms and they fit perfectly through waist, hip and legs. They have snaps at the waistband and a short zipper. The capris that don't fit have a pull-on waistband with no zippers which appealed to me. Alas, I can't wear them. It's a nice product, but not right for me.

I have a problem with the sizing between a large and an extra large-there is no consistency between styles sized this way & the different between a large & an extra large is too different. In one style a large fits a bit small but wearable, in this style I couldn't even bend in the large!

I love these capris! However, I cannot give but two stars, not because of the capris, but because of the inconsistency of Columbia clothing. I own a pair (size L) of these capris and love them, so I decided to get another pair. I ordered a large, but the style had changed slightly so they did not fit well. They were a bit tight in the rear and thighs. I returned them and then ordered an extra large. Well, the XL is the same style as my size large that fit perfectly so now the XL is a bit too big. I do not understand why Columbia changed the style of the size large that I ordered. I am disappointed.

Not a true Medium. Extremely small waist relative to hips, and I had to send them back.

Returning these as they are slightly too small, however, reordering a size larger because I liked them.

This small size is much smaller and very tight on me. usually Columbia small size fits me perfectly. The quality is not as good as I expected. Gave it to my little girl instead of returning it only because this is one of my favorite brand names.

I am 5'7'" and 45 lbs - I tried the medium which was too small then the large was too big especially in the waist. Material seemed nice though

Too small and now have to return. Make sure to size up. Am V disappointed as needed these for an upcoming hiking trip this weekend. Am staying away from going into stores because of Covid so am not sure what I'm going to do now. Shipping is also very slow and the UPS guy left my package at the wrong apt. Overall bad experience.

I returned these after trying them on. Based on others' comments I ordered the x-small. Although they fit fine through the seat and were slightly roomy in the legs, they were both too snug and too high in the waist, and also short in the rise. Very uncomfortable! I have muscular legs, so I thought that the fact that the x-small was roomy in the legs would mean that sizing up by trying a small for more waist room would mean baggy legs. Just not a cut or style for my slim but slightly curvy build.
