Unfortunately, the boots were not wide enough to fit my EE feet even though I ordered an Extra wide.

The leather was stiff and cut into my ankle in the front when I walked. Although I wear a 9.5 W in all my other shoes, these also felt tight on my toes.

No matter how many times I tried, I could not get both zippers up at the same time. I do have large calves but it seemed more about the construction of the boot.

The boots in the box were mismatched (not a pair)

I was disappointed that these shoes fit tight on my feet and instep. I purposely bought them in order to have some comfortable fitting boots, but unfortunately they were tight. I already have wide feet with bunions, and a high instep. My ankles are also wide, which did not help with the material cutting into my ankles. However, the boots look nice and I'm sure on a slimmer foot would be quite comfortable.

The overall appearance is appealing, and the foot fit was good, however the ankle width of the boot neck was too narrow and restricting for my ankles. Regrettably, I must return the boots. Sad.

The boot was loose in the ankle and did not provide much support. Also, the toe area was not as wide as I would have liked. Good looking boot though.

These are very stiff, and I didn't find them comfortable. Also, I just didn't notice before ordering that there is a zipper on both the inner and outer part of the upper, which is both useless and odd looking. Many of the reviews mention how great the width is for wide feet, but the regular width on my narrow to regular width feet was nothing special.

Too wide for me

I really liked the boots but the uppers were so stiff, I was not sure I could get used to them. I returned and ordered a boot with a softer lower shaft.

I LOVE my Propet fabric Maryjane style shoes. But these boots, while beautiful, are uncomfortable in two ways. I am a 71/2 ww. These felt too wide and too long. Additionally the leather coming up to ankle height felt stiff and uncomfortable against my leg. Keep looking.

The fit is good. This is my first Propet purchase and they are were comfortable out of the box. I have worn them all day for several days without my orthopedic insert. The only reason for a less than stellar review is because the style is just not quite feminine enough. Although I need a wide toe box, which these are perfect for, the tip of the boot could be more narrow for a slightly lighter/feminine look.

Perfect fit but the brown color is a washed-out light tan. Not sure that even a lot of brown shoe polish would make it an attractive color. Sending it back and have ordered the same boot in black. Sad about this because I really wanted a brown boot. Thanks Zappos for the easy, generous return policy.

I decided on these after looking long and hard for a comfy ankle boot that was dressy enough for work. While they seem to have a cushioned sole and okay arch support, these boots did not work for me. I have thick ankles and while the boot was a little too big and roomy on my foot, the ankle part was too tight and rubbed in a way that was painful. Back they go to Zappos!

They look better online than in person. Just too round for my taste.

This bootie has good toe room, but the arch is in the wrong place for me, even after removing the store-bought sole and using my orthotics. Also, the leather on the ankle front tends to rub my ankles.

Size was very large. I first ordered 8 1/2 WW (my regular size). They were enormous- too long, too wide in the heel. Then I ordered the 8WW - still too long and wide in the heel. I can't really give an accurate Star rating on comfort because so far neither size fit. I'm going to try the 7 1/2 next because I do like the look of the boot.

Leather felt stiff, front of boot cut into ankle shin area . Felt like very limited padding on ball of foot .

I wanted these boots to feel better than they do on my feet. Seemed a bit wider than expected, and being leather I know they would stretch a bit more. I do like Propet and have an old pair (style HOPE) that are similar (zip on both sides of boot) and shape and are/were waterproof. These only compare in style and look on the foot. Not as comfortable first time on as the old ones. Sad they don't seem to be of the same quality.
