These are extremely comfortable right out of the box and fit consistently with what I usually get in Clarks shoes. I've been fighting plantar fasciitis for several months, and these seemed to be last thing I needed to finish healing. I've got a very high instep, and Clarks are the only shoes I can reliably fit. These were great in that regard. The most surprising result was that my 11 year old grudgingly told me that he thought they looked good. :)

I ordered Clarks Step Allena Sun. I'm tired of the white sole style that every shoe seller is showing these days which is why my ratings are somewhat negative. For whatever reason, the designers seem to think everyone wants sneakers. However, this is the type of shoe that seems to fit my pronated feet best for daily and dress wear so I have to try to get ones that fit. I would normally have chosen 9.5 wide. I ordered a size 10 wide because other reviews indicated they were too short, but I found the ten too long. I am returning the shoes to see if the 9.5 wide will fit. Another reason I am a little leery of this particular shoe as well because an insert in the box warned that the color (black) might fade, or worse, run. That would be a problem, so realize you would be taking a chance on the color ruining some clothes.

Cute shoe, but unfortunately it was too narrow and small. I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size to see if it fits better.

These shoes are fabulous! So lightweight, definitely felt like I was walking on clouds!

Very comfortable and cute shoes, really wanted to keep them but the tabs on the back rubbed on my heels.

I was very sorry to have to return these Clarks. I love the brand and have always been happy with their shoes. My shoe size is 7 1/2 wide but I can rarely find shoes I like in wide width. So I normally order 8 regular width. I was able to order this shoe in 7 1/2 wide but they were quite large in the toe area, even with socks. The width was perfect but the shoes slid off my heels so back they go.

Cute shoe, but not a good fit for me. A little narrow in front, but not tight enough in heel. Also, uncomfortable seam where the section with laces meets the front part of the shoe. Lightweight. Will be returning and still looking for perfect vacation shoe.

I had high hopes as I frequently wear Clarks and sizing has never been a problem. But these were WAY TOO narrow. Also the basic shoe is of minimal height so my personal orthotic (not a thick one) didn't fit well. And as long as I am complaining, why do they put white rubber around the bottom of a black sneaker? Would look much better in black or even gray. I will continue searching.

I bought these sneakers for a one month trip to Europe. I tried on at least 20 shoes before settling on these. They are lightweight but extremely comfortable. I need arch support and found that these sneakers had adequate support. I was able to walk miles a day, stand for long periods of time when on tour and my feet were fine. I wore them with Bombas sock liners in order to get the right fit. They are a bit dirty (I got the beige ones) so will have to see if they will come clean with spot washing.

I love these shoes! I got them in the color sand textile and I have worn them almost every single day since I got them. PERFECT.

I exchanged these shoes from a 7.5 M and 7.5W, because they were too big. I reordered them in a 7 W and they are perfect. I loved Clarks Cloiudsteppers because they are cushioned - comfortable for my 70-year-old feet that have had three surgeries. I see they are on sale at another site right now, but I am going to order them in another color from Zappos. The quick service, the free shipping for orders, returns and exchanges, and the helpfulness of Zappos have made me a loyal customer. I should just stop looking at other sites!

Very soft comfortable footbed that I think will be great support for an upcoming vacation on cobbled streets. Lightweight and packable. Cute and stylish, not as clunky as an athletic shoe. I might even order in another color.

These are really comfy shoes, a little more sporty than the Ayla Reece. I ordered the 9.5M, but have ordered the 10M just to try, to make sure toes have enough room with a thin sock. This one will be a keeper.

I love the Cloudstepper line so much, this is the 4th pair I've bought. The cushioning is unparalleled, they are perfect for walking and standing for long periods. I do wear orthotics in them for extra arch support, but I have high arches and I need orthotics in most of my shoes. Beyond the comfort of these shoes, the styling is adorable. I love this color and the "saddle shoe" look.

I have tried these twice now. Both in my regular size and a size down. They feel comfortable and look cute so I've kept trying.

These would have been perfect if they were white, but they're not. They're actually a light yellow (like a vanilla) color. Comfort was excellent, style was really cute. They didn't make my size 10 foot look so giant. But the color was the deal breaker. They're going back.

The heel felt loose, and I could not put an orthotic in it without raising the heel too high. Very light and flexible

This is not the shoe I wanted it to be. Just a little underwhelming. Several reviewers said it ran short, I did not find that to be the case. If I liked the shoe, I would order my regular size.

Clarks shoes are normally comfortable and good for walking. These are snug and narrow. I bought a half size larger than I normally wear and they were tight and very narrow on the ball of the foot and toes. The support seems fine but the sizing is off.

Although this shoe fit me, there was no arch support. I was looking for a shoe for a trip abroad that will involve walking in cities and on cobblestones and hoped that this would do the trick. It did not so I returned it.

My favorite shoes - want to order them again!
