The shoe is adorable and makes an outfit perfect! However.....I ordered a half soze up and My foot was squeezed in there! Toes were even going numb after a few minutes. Had to take them off. I’m going to try a larger size, which will end up being a whole size larger than what I wear, but these shoes are what I’ve been looking for so fingers crossed!

I normally wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10. A 9.5 would have been too small. I have a very high arch but normally order Clark's as they are always so comfortable. This shoe is not cushy inside or comfortable. I feel as though I am walking on a non padded surface. I like the look of them and am hoping to be able to break them in and that they become comfortable after a while.

Here’s my “warning” for these shoes. Expect a silver sheen instead of a pewter. As everyone else mentions, order one size larger than usual.

The style of this boot makes it difficult to get your foot into. They also seemed a little narrow. I loved the look of the boot but decided they wouldn't work for me and had to return them.

Although these are great looking shoes, they do run at least a half size small in length, but felt wide in width. However, the main reason they won't work for me is due to the fact that the back portion is engineered to be the perfect height to dig into my Achilles tendon, and had I worn them, they would have painfully worn my skin off in that area. I'm disappointed to have to return them because they are very stylish and would have been a great addition to my shoe wardrobe.

I felt like a shoemaker from an old story in a wooden shoe shop made these stiff and hard shoes! They are hard to get on and are narrow. Im usually a 6 and all my Clark’s from Zappos are comfy but Clark’s rum small so I got a 6.5 like I usually do for Clark’s and they are still tight, so size up a whole size or don’t get if you have a wide foot. Also don’t get if you don’t have an old fashion cobblers shoe horn to get these babies on. There is zero cushion.

I wanted to love these shoes and even tried buying them twice in suede and leather but as other reviewers said, they fit small and are quite narrow. The materials are sturdy and heel is exact height I was looking for but my foot (which is already narrow) did not fit well in this shoe. It was simply too tight even though I ordered up a half size to a 10 (I'm normally a 9.5). They don't offer a 10.5 size here so I will be returning.

I read many reviews on this shoe trying to determine what size to order. I've always worn a 6 and 1/2 or 7. The reviews were not consistent, running from too small to too large. This makes me wonder if people actually know their shoe size, or if the shoe manufacturing is inconsistent for size. I ordered a 7 in hopes of playing it safe. The shoe was NOT a size 7, more like a size 6. I'm in the process of returning and had hoped to order a replacement in a size 7 and 1/2 (a size I've never worn), but the price for the shoe is now double what I paid prior to Christmas, which seems a bit unfair. Guess I'll just wait to reorder.

I wanted to like these, I want a "shootie" but I got a weird pain in the bottom of my right forefoot, my toes were being squeezed together too much. Going back. Haven't worn any Clarks since the mid 1990's.

Although others recommended ordering half a size up, I did but these shoes are still VERY tight. Their low profile is good for a low volume foot which I have, but even these pinched my toes and felt very shallow. Too bad, the styling is a lovely blend between Oxfords and Chelsea boots that would be perfect for urban winter wear.

Based on reviews I got 1/2 size larger. I am not sure I needed the longer shoe but the width was a problem. It was somewhat narrow. I have a bit of a wide foot but sizing up usually gives me plenty of width. It is a very attractive bootie so I was sad to send it back. I also have a high arch so getting into boots is sometimes a problem, but this one is very easy on and off.

This shoe would be awesome except for the fact that it is extremely narrow, even if I kept it and had it stretched it's still going to be to tight. It's a shame shoe companies can't get the forefront foot part sizing right.

I loved these both in the picture and when I received them. Unfortunately after two tries, they just run much smaller that my normal size both in length and width.

I have difficult feet to fit and was hoping that these would work. I read the other reviews and I went up a half size but they were still too narrow. I will need to return them but Zappos is the BEST.

This shoe runs very narrow across the instep. I have had to return the last several shoes/boots I have ordered for this reason. I wear a 6 1/2B but everything seems to be running very narrow lately.

This shoe is insane. It looks so cute just sitting there, but then you try to put your foot in. There was a whole centimeter of my heel that was wider than the hole for you to put your foot in. No matter what I did, it didn't even come close to getting in, and this is with a shoe that is a FULL SIZE larger than I usually wear! How are you supposed to wear a shoe with no way of putting it on?! There's no zipper, and the hole, even fully stretched, is insanely small. If someone has a size 9 shoe, you have to make a size 9 hole, people. Sad, because I love Clarks and now I have to buy from some other shoe company.
