I have large hands, so finding gloves is hard for me.
I wear a 2XL in gloves. I bought an XL. This glove runs a little small. The liner that comes with it makes the overall fit, tight. I used a different, thinner liner and got the fit I wanted. The glove itself functions more like a protective shell. The liner provides the warmth. So, the overall warmth of the glove depends on the liner you use. This is a light-weight glove. There isn't a lot of bulk on this glove. I wouldn't recommend it for temperatures past 20 degrees.

I'm always looking for a quality glove for biking in the wintertime. These are a great option. The fleece liner can be added or removed depending on the temperatures. The built in pocket on each glove allows me to store my bike-share fob and a key if needed. The gloves still allow for good finger movement and dexterity for grabbing bike brakes and handles. I would gladly buy them again soon

Ordered Large, were tight and I have small hands. Gauntlet cuffs are to short to fit over winter coat and to small fit around sleeve.

Very nice glove system with two problems. The XL fits like a large, and is too tight to put on unless separated, liner first, then outer glove. Then very tight. Also, very rough/scratchy seams inside wrist of fleece liner. On the positive side, the outer glove does have a thin liner itself, so I will keep as my spring/warm weather ski gloves.

I have two Omnitech jackets that I love so I ordered the gloves. Unfortunately the gloves are not nearly as warm. I don't think there is enough space in the glove for the material to work properly.

These gloves fit odd. I wear XL in most gloves and have had probably 1/2 dozen pairs of Columbia gloves with and without the liners. With the liner in, they are too tight. With the liners out they fit well, but the fingers are too long, 1/2 - 3/4". For most things I do with winter gloves they are fine and I've gotten use to them. I just don't use the liners with the glove. Warmth wise, they are ok. My hands got cold snowblowing, but were fine in other situations. The liners are fairly warm, but you definitely notice cold coming through the seams.

I love the gloves, but the sizing and fit are really quite poor. That alone is what makes this an average review. If you can try before you buy, I would.

While these gloves by themselves aren't too bad, I found that the liner in them does make them a bit constricting. I bought the correct size but once the temperatures started to drop below freezing, the gloves became less comfortable to ski in or even use daily. Of course they aren't meant for sub-zero temperatures, so if you're above 30 degrees/have some sun in the sky, these gloves should hold up for you pretty well

I purchased these gloves in the hopes of having a pair of winter gloves that I could use during brutal New England weather.
First the pros:
- The gloves are quality. Construction, quality control and materials used are excellent.
- The fleece liner adds extra warmth which is awesome.
- I purchased the black & graphite pair and the gloves are extremely stylish.
The Cons:
- The fit is tight. I've owned multiple gloves from The North Face, all in a size XL and they all fit perfectly. I decided to go with an XL. WIth the fleece liner the gloves are snug. Without them they fit better. But that leads me to my next con:
- The fingers are super long. It seems that these gloves were designed for people with super long and slender fingers. Quite simply, I can't really do anything other than maybe grab a shovel to shovel snow. I can't possibly imagine sizing down to a Large, though, as the gloves are already tight as it is.
Overall, it's a shame. I wish I had listened to all the reviews. I'll still use the gloves to shovel snow but unfortunately I won't be able to use these with any sort of regularity.

The inner gloves are almost perfect. Good for mildly cold weathers. However the outer layer adds almost no cold resistance.

Fit and size are normal. And the extra fleece glove keeps you warm but can be a pain when you take your hands in and out as it doesn't stay inside the glove.

Loved this glove until about halfway through the first ski season. One of the seams near the wrist strap came undone and the tear obviously continued to grow though the second half of the season. Not sure if I got an anomaly or if this is a wide spread problem. I own many other Columbia products and will continue to be a customer, just not for gloves anymore

They are ok gloves. I don't love them but they will get by. The fingers are long as other post have stated. They get tight when you make a fist more so then any other glove I have. With the liners they are warm but they can be a pain that they pull out when you take them off. I use them for skiing so when you take your gloves off on the lift you need them to come on and off easily. These do not do that.

The fingers are about 1" too long. I can get over that, but so far the gloves do not seem that warm. I have not yet tried the removable liners, but last week when I was shoveling snow, it was only 29-30deg (albeit windy) and my hands were still freezing. I was going to grab the liners but they were upstairs and I didn't want to take off all my snow coated gear to go get them. My 15+yr old gloves I bought at my local grocery store for $20 were a much better buy. Oh well. At least these were on sale when I bought them.
