I live in the Chicago area. Temp was 12 degrees F today. Could feel the cold steering weather through the gloves. They May keep my hands warm in my cold office but not outside. The e-tip works well with my phone. These will work in the fall and spring in northern states but not in the winter for outside.

After only 2 weeks of wear, the silicone grippers all started to fall off. This turned one of the BEST things about these gloves (great grip) into one of the WORST things about these gloves (poor durability).

I live on the coast of SC and needed a glove for everyday use during winter. Our cold temperatures average about thirty degrees. My hands were constantly cold wearing these gloves. The ETIP feature works great and they weren't bulky at all. They met all of my needs except they could not keep my hands warm. I took them back and found a pair of gloves at another store that were on clearance for $.97 and keep my hands warmer than these did.

A little disappointed that the North Face logo on the right glove is peeling and looks like was maybe misaligned when it was silk screened on the glove? Surprising for a first quality NF product. I've been happier with outlet purchases. The hassle of a return is more aggravating than anything else. :(

I like the style and comfort of these gloves BUT they are not warm at all. I've worn them during the cold Chicago temperatures and they are just not worth the money.

These are not exceptional gloves, and from north face at $45 I expect more. I'll preface by saying they are a bit small for me, but of course thats based on the size I ordered. However, the seams on the insides of the fingers, at the fingertips are really thick, annoying, and press on my fingers. That may be slightly due to the smaller size but still, why does the seam need to be so obnoxious. Secondly, they actually came with a hole in the finger, in the seam between the fingers actually. Its small, so I can sew it up, but again, for $45 dollar gloves? Lastly the e-tip is nothing special, the way the gloves are designed you can't type so you can't do much more than touch commands like unlocking and taking pictures, etc. Its cold here and I'm too lazy to return them (mail order), but if I had tried them on in the store I most likely would not have gotten them.

These gloves didn't keep hands warm at all! I had to take them off for my hands to even warm up! It's like they made your hands colder by putting them on! Don't know why or how. This is the one item from The Northface that I've been disappointed in. So sad.

I am so disappointed in these gloves! My first pair had a hole in the left fingertip just after the one year mark. I purchased a new pair only for those to rip at the seam along the thumb too! In New England weather, I don't have 6-8 weeks to wait for the warranty. I am so disappointed in these gloves. I have bought many North Face products and none of them have been as dissatisfactory as these gloves.

I Expected more out of Northface products for the price I paid for these gloves, I have many of the other Northface products that are great! I would not recommend these gloves unless maybe you are living in Florida and plan to Not travel anywhere outside of Florida!!! I will be returning these gloves!! I wore these while in New York City, had to double up with another set of gloves underneath and my finger tips still were frozen.

The seam in the gloves split open after two uses and the material appears worn even though they are only two months old with minimal use.

So sad these do not work. Not even a little hands are freezing even in mild temps

I wish I would have read reviews prior to buying these in store--and removing the tags! I can't believe how ineffective these gloves are at doing their one and only job--keeping my hands warm. By Minnesota standards, a 17 degree day in January is pretty mild, and yet my hands felt like I was out there in below zero temperatures without any gloves at all. North Face, please don't indicate on your tag that these are good in "very cold" temperatures. These are clearly not suitable for anything below freezing.

I bought size small and they fit great, however that's the only thing I like about these gloves. They do not keep your hands warm at all and the Etip function does not work. In addition, the gloves are peeling by the figure tips (I have only worn them a few times while driving). Way overpriced for gloves that do not do what they are supposed to do!

If I could I would give this product zero stars. The only thing good about these gloves is that they work with my iPhone. They are not warm AT ALL. my fingers freeze and then swell with painful tingling after wearing these in cold weather. DO NOT BUY!! Extremely disappointed that TNF would manufacture and sell such a subpar product.

I love how these feel and they work great with my phone BUT these are not warm at all! My hands are freezing as I'm typing this review. I got these on sale but they are still not worth the money

Worked scanning tickets at outdoor event. Fingers were freezing with this glove. Etip would not work at all on the screen, so had to take glove off. Worthless. My cheap isotoners were warmer and worked with the screen.

The gloves is pretty and i like the fitting but its not warm at all, i wish i can return them, only use once.

Hoped to wear it in cold weather, will not.

The gloves are not for winter maybe for spring or fall but definitely dissapointed with the north face brand

The gloves is not good for Chicago weather

I was really disappointed in these. They were not warm at all! Wore them in 22 degree weather to walk my dog and my hands were freezing the entire time. I couldn't even imagine them in colder climate or with snow. The reviews were good so I took a chance but I have some way cheaper mittens that have kept me warmer than these gloves. I do like North Face products but I would go with a different colder weather glove.

I got this as a gift worked fine for a week, then it stopped working with my phone.

I was excited to wear these gloves, but was disappointed the first time I wore them to my son's football game. The temp was in the 40s and these did not give my hands any warmth and definitely did not block the wind. I've worn them 2 more times with same result.

I bought these gloves at a friend's recommendation because I needed finger dexterity while wearing gloves when training my dog outside. I also needed them to keep my hands warm in temperatures 20 degrees F or much lower. These gloves do not keep my hands warm at all. I may as well be going bare-handed for all the protection they give me. They don't even keep my hands warm when I wear them as driving gloves. They might work as a liner in a warmer glove or mitt, but I wouldn't pay $45 for a liner. I resent paying $45 for a glove that doesn't do the job.
