I purchased this coat because 1. I simply love north face! 2. It's a reasonable price for an extremely warm coat, I'm from NYC where the temperatures drop below zero and you'll see with my north face ! 3. Blue white and red is simply patriotic Lol

I was in the market for a new down jacket for an upcoming trek to Everest Base Camp. After looking at many jackets in the market (North Face and others), I settled on the Nuptse as a good combination of cost, pack-ability, weight, and warmth. I would look for a more technical jacket for any technical climbing, but for a high altitude, non-technical, trek, this should do the job.

This Jacket is Awesome. So comfortable and with the classic style that only a NorthFace Jacket can provide. I highly recommend it.

Bought it large, turned out to be a little more than I expected. However, it looks great when I wear a hoodie under it.

Excited to get this jacket and opened the package to find the zipper was broken...super disappointed, obviously not checked before it was sent.

I wish they kept some of the original design elements like the placement of front logo. In old Nuptse jackets from 90s, the logo is placed closer to the shoulder which I like. New ones has the logo too close to the zipper. Small but important design detail. Great jacket

I really like the fit. Slightly over sized but perfect for layering. Puffy but not too puffy. Hidden hood in the collar is nice too!

Warm, good looking, packable and easy to style. I can see myself using this jacket in the city at night or with it packed in my backpack for a cold night out camping. Im very happy with the white color and definitely considering the red as well!

I remember coveting this jacket 25 years ago. The retro version doesn't disappoint. After all this time it's still a premium piece of kit for cold inclement weather. The styling still holds up exceedingly well.
