This hat is awesome. It does what a beanie is supposed to do and fits really well. It got a little stretched out but it still fits (I think once I wash it, it'll fit better). It's super warm and squishy. This hat is fantastic if you want a true beanie style hat. Plus, the colors are on point. It fit right the first time I put it on and I didn't need to "break it in".

There??s something magical about this hat, something I discovered the moment I saw the extraordinary length of the body???an immediate indication that it would be ???slouchy,?? as the hobos say. Having grown up in a preppy environment where beanies fit snugly around the entire head without any extra slack, I??ve recently become interested in the slouchy-fit movement. After all, why shouldn??t the head be wild and free, the scalp and ears only loosely-covered with a soft, warm, casually-woven garment? For those looking to free their heads from tight-fitting beanie oppression and invite a style that??s admirable for hangouts mid-slope as well the frigid, fashion-conscious sidewalks of major metropolises, the Shinsky beanie is their answer. In addition to the relaxed fit, the Shinsky beanie is marvelously soft. I sometimes keep it on after I??ve come in from the elements, often mistaking it for my own hair. The beanie is also made of animal-friendly acrylic, contributing to the prolonged happiness of countless animals. In fact, just the other day I saw a sheep trying on this hat at my local North Face store. How incredibly sweet! The down-side of the Shinsky beanie? Well, unfortunately, I??ve come to find that it is difficult to wear this hat at parties and get-togethers; it simply demands too much attention and invites unwelcome hands-on ???petting?? type gestures from other people. Aside from that, the comfort and delight I take in this hat is incomparable. Thank you, North Face, for freeing my head and keeping me warm and stylish!

This hat is very soft, super cute, and totally hipster. it fits perfectly, doesn't make you too hot, or too cold. Perfect for all weather conditions.

This hat is very cool! Slightly oversized for a laid back vibe the fleece inside the hat makes this super warm. I love the clean bright white color.

I have purchased the beanie in black. The shipping was very fast. The hat is a beautiful, deep black. It is double lined, not just knit, so it is reversible and provides great warmth. It is big enough to cover my ears and still have the baggy style to it. It is an excellent beanie and I would definately buy another.

I purchased this in Retro Green hoping for more of a bright "kelly green" color that it showed on my screen (I thought it would look great with my strawberry blond hair), but I understand how colors in pictures can vary on different computers and such. When I received this hat I was at first sad to see that it wasn't the color I was hoping for, as it is more of a bold sea-foam color, but after I tried it on I found myself warming to the true color it was. It really is a fresh and gorgeous color which brightens your skin and is a beautiful surprise against the darker and more dreary colors that you often find in fall and winter wardrobes. It it a thicker material than I expected and is all white knit on the inside. It truly is a "slouchy" style, and to really keep it secure on your head (so it doesnt go flying off) you need to pull it down over bangs (or tuck them in) so that it lays across your forehead. This allows it to lay snuggily over your ears and bunch in that slouchy-style in the back, keeping your head very warm. If you are looking for something more lightweight for mild weather, look elsewhere. This hat is thick, soft, and definitely meant for cold weather. I am absolutely keeping it.

This hat is epic. A hat that is not only warm and soft but covers your forehead and ears. I got the black because it's a universal color that can go with anything. I want to get the white one too.

i am not a hat wearer but, winters have been tough this year/this hat is warm, well made and looks great on! i especially like the two tone color scheme/although it feels lightweight, it does keep me warm!
