YES!!! Here I am with my Flintstone feet - in regular shoes I'm an 8.5WW. I have thick ankles and thick calves, I mean, boots are a basic nightmare to me BUT I'm going to Iceland and needed some damn warm boots. I tried these on and almost cried. I bought a thicker insulating sock, put them on, and these boots still slid right on. I laced them up, then stood and....AHHHH!!!!! heaven. Super comfortable boots! Easy to walk in (not clumping around like Frankenstein's Monster.) They fit my wide ass feet/ankles/calves and I am so so happy. Maybe I'll MOVE to Iceland just so I can wear them all the time. Wide footed lady friends...rejoice!

If you have extra wide feet, you MUST try these and their sister shoe, the Polar Joy Wide. (The "Joy" have a bit of suede detailing, and at least in the pairs I tried, were a very tiny bit wider in the toebox.) I have NEVER put on a snow boot that didn't squeeze my EE to EEEE toes or hurt my left bunion, until these. No bunion pain, fairly light (not heavy clodhoppers like many), grown-up color choices. Not much visible insulation (no faux fur or anything), but did I mention they fit?!? I do wish there were a zipper to make the on/off process easier here, but the laces adjust well (though with a bit of effort at times), which helps when you have a high instep especially, and the tongue is attached to the sides of the shoe, so there's no gap that I can tell where water might seep in. (Finally!) I can't say yet how they'll fair in the snow and freezing temperatures, but as far as size goes, if you have extra wide feet, give these a go.

Took my new Kamik boots out of the box this morning. It's cold and rainy so I saw no reason not to give them a try today. It's 33 degrees and brutally windy and wet. Wow!! was I pleased. They are incredibly warm and my feet are dry and toasty. I wore my thickest hiking socks and there is still plenty of wiggle room. The toe box is generous and mid-height works fine under my pant legs. I would recommend these for cold/wet weather and expect they'll perform well in snow too.

I have hard to fit feet that are wide, pronated, high instep and thought from the reviews that this boot would work. It is not wide enough - in women's I wear a 10 extra wide. This boot fit too snug to wear socks and just wasn't wide enough nor was there enough toe space.

My left foot measures 9D, and my right 8 1/2 ww the shoe was too short in length for my left foot and nearly too short for my right foot.

I ordered these along with the Polar Joy (PJ). I kept the PJs because they were a little shorter height and seemed to hit a better spot on my leg. This pair had suede on the toes and heels so I thought the other pair might be better. I liked the all black of the PJs better than the gray fur on this pair. However, it is just a personal preference. Both had very wide toe boxes. The heels seem wide, too. I have a narrow heel but I think thick socks will fix that problem. The ankle width is wide enough to accommodate thick socks (and ankles!). Overall, I think either boot would be a good choice. This pair is cheaper so if you are about the price then you won't go wrong choosing this pair or the other one. Now I am just hoping I don't need them!

I have really wide toes and a narrow heel. I normally wear a Brooks wide or Nike wide. With my thickest pair of socks, they felt a little tight in the toe but loose in the heel. I haven’t found a good pair of winter boots that didn’t punch my toes so I’m very happy with these. The uppers are very comfortable though the style is a bit outside of what I would normally buy. Overall, if you have wide feet that makes it hard to buy boots, give these a try!

The Kamik Polar Wide feels true to size and width; they fit my wide foot really well. They would be great boots for walking around after skiing or just around town. Unfortunately, I am looking for a sturdier boot for winter hiking and snowshoeing.

My feet stayed warm while shoveling snow for three hours in 25 F degree temperatures. I used the size chart to find the correct size and purchased it in a wide. I added an insole for arch support and a sheepskin insole on top of that. I wear the boots without socks. The laces allowed for adequate adjustment across the top of the foot and lower leg.

I wear a size 7 if the toe box is wide to accommodate bunions, and usually a 7.5 in athletic shoes. I am to take a trip to a frigid landscape and have been searching for a boot that is rated -40F, would allow 2 pair of socks with toe wiggle room. Finally!!! This is the boot. I ordered a size 7 wide and the boot, that has a removable foot bed, accommodates my orthotics as well as provide room for thick socks with wiggle room. This is a wonderfully comfortable boot that suits my needs.

Very warm and stylish. True to size, but I wear a half size and this boot is not available in half sizes, so they were too large and I need more arch support than they afforded, so I sadly sent them back.

I have wide feet and need a wide toe box - for comparison, I wear a 7D in New Balance 990s. Usually I have to size up in snow boots - I wear my Keen Hoodoos in a size 8.5! - but the 7D in these fit perfectly. They're also softer than the Keens - softer around the ankle and more flexible in the foot - which is good for me because I walk a lot and the Keens, while good for snowshoeing, are a little clunky for (icy) pavement pounding.

Just got these winter boots and love them. Ordered 1/2 size larger (9) than normal for me and D width to give room for a bunion. They feel good, lots of toe room and width space for my aging feet. Will try them in the very cold , snowy New England weather shortly.

I had to change to a wide width for my orthotics and these boots are perfect. You can remove the foot bed if you need to, I didn't as I used it to make the toe area a little more snug. The shoe is very attractive and for a size 10 wide I don't feel like I have Mr. Monster feet. I definitely feel you'll love these boots. I'm going to look at other Kamik shoes on zappos!

Love this boot! I was thrilled to find a warm, comfortable, durable winter boot that fit my wide feet! The shoelaces are easy to loosen and tighten and the height of this boot will be wonderful when there's several inches of snow on the ground.

keeps my feet dry and warm. They are also lightweight which helps walking thru the snow.

Cute boots! They are not really cushion-y and don't have much arch support , but they have removable insoles, so I just replaced them with mine and they are fine. They are warm too. Compared to other snow boots they are inexpensive, so for the price they are excellent!

Can wear thick socks with these with no issues.

These are lightweight and comfortable, haven't tried them in cold conditions yet but I expect that they will keep my feet warm. I was happy to find these as the selection of wide boots for women is extremely limited, which I find very disappointing. Many of us like to wear thick wool socks in winter which makes the wide width more desirable in boots even if an average width works for shoes and sneakers. Fast delivery as always from Zappos.

Well, I usually wear an 8.5 wide so I ordered the 9. It was nice warm boot but way to big in every way. I will try the 8 and see how that works.

This is a stylish boot. It was easy to get my foot into with my high instep. The toe box felt a little tight on my big toe. I wear a 6.5 wide, this was a 7 wide. The soul was flat, no arch support. I need that, so these go back.

I wear wide shoes, and these were plenty wide enough for me. My issue is that the tread on the sole is insufficient at gripping in any slippery conditions. I’ve already fallen twice this winter in these boots! I do not recommend them!

I ordered these boots after reading a review that they fit large calves. Unfortunately, the shaft of the boots would not fit around my calves. I wish manufacturers would give the measurement of the shaft of boots so consumers would know if they would fit them.

I wear a 6W in most shoes, sometimes 6.5W. I ordered these in 6W based on the reviews. However, the sizing was off - the right shoe was much smaller than the left shoe (so much so that at first I thought they must have sent two different sizes, but that wasn't the case). Without the fit issue these boots seem ok. They weren't the highest quality (I suspect that they wouldn't last more than one winter), but the seem like they would have gotten the job done.
