I normally wear 10.5, which is hard to find. I was glad that I had the option with this boot. However, I thought it would be a good idea to go up a size for extra room, so I ordered an 11. They were definitely too big. Zappos quickly sent me a 10.5 and they fit much better, but after wearing them briefly, I discovered that the seam inside and above the right, big toe was separating and was interfering with comfort. Zappos customer service came thru for me again, and quickly replaced the defective pair. The replacement pair feel great! I live in a very cold climate and tend to have cold feet. They are very warm and comfortable. I have worn them in temps in the low teens for 30-60 min at a time, and my feet stay consistently warm!

I wear a 6.5 and typically wear close fitting shoes such as TOMS. I ordered a 7 since half sizes were not offered. I found my foot sliding in the 7 even with thick socks. I contacted zappos, which literally has the best customer service ever, and they quickly sent out a size 6. The size 6 is a much better fit. These boots are very warm for Northern MI weather and have good grip. I would buy this shoe again:)

This was generally comfortable and well-made, but styled for a wider foot than mine. I would have had to have gone to a larger size to get the toe length, and then the width would have been way too much, so I had to return. For someone with a wider foot, these would be great.

Great boots! I’ve been wearing them around a house that has tile floors. I forgot I was wearing them. That’s how comfortable they are on your feet. I wanted something warm but not full on serious snow boots since that would be a little overkill for where I live. These fit the bill perfectly. I ordered a half size larger so I’d have plenty of room for thick socks. Excited to wear them!

I love these so far! I've walked in a little snow but haven't really gotten them wet yet, but it has been below 0 degrees (worse with windchill) and these kept my feet warm walking around houses and going to and from buildings throughout the day! They are a little clunky while walking but having warm feet are totally worth it. I wish they were a little more stylish, but I wore them with casual dress clothes to work and thought it was fine. I usually wear a size 10 in gym shoes and ordered a 10. They feel a little snug with thicker socks but I think even a half size up would be too big.

This is a great light weight boot for someone with a wide foot. I usually wear a 8.5W so I ordered a 9B and they fit perfectly. Wore them tonight with thick socks and I was warm and comfortable at 19F.

I bought the Polar Fox after Polar Joy proved to be a bad fit for me. The Fox is amazingly lightweight, and is easy to walk in, considering it’s a fairly clunky style. I haven’t had to walk thru deep snow in them yet, but am pleased that they are warm and the tongue has gussets to help keep snow out of the boot. They could have a cushier footbed, but my thick merino wool socks make up for that shortcoming. All in all, I’m very pleased with my new Kamik’s.

i must have brain glitches re boot purchases and finally ended up on Zappos where I looked at several waterproof winter boots in a size 8. Normally I wear a 7.5 but needed to get an 8 to accomodate heavy sox. That said I picked them up from the PO and immediately tried them on. Yes in the house but the fit is true to size the width is B medium and the overall style and design of the boot is classic and functional for shoveling, for striding in on my snow shoes, for any outside activity during the physcially challenging chill. I'm happy they are waterproof so I will test later since it's freezing rain with puddles. I do not expect any boot to be entirely waterproof since they're not Gortex. Glad I got these and if I decide upon longer wearing hours I will update . hope these work well. I rarely return items unless damaged. Kamik is a trusted name for boots My grandchildren both active boys keep their Kamiks for a few years and plod happily thru snow, ice, freezing rain, puddles. No complaints ever. Super cute and soooo warm! Also very comfortable. Felt true to size with enough room to wear a thicker sock, if desired.

Straight out of the box these are the most comfortable boot I’ve worn. They are lightweight and super warm. I wore them to walk my dogs in -7degF temps and 12” of snow. My feet were toasty warm. So comfortable I didn’t want to take them off! I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly.

This boot is really cute and it feels soft and comfortable. I was looking for a boot to wear in very cold snowy, icy weather with thick wool socks. I usually wear a 7.5 so I ordered the 8, especially since others found it ran large for them. Unfortunately, I should have ordered a 9 as it was too small with the thick socks. Also, the tread is not very deep, so might not be the best for heavier snow and ice. Too bad, as it was the cutest of several boots I ordered to try.

These boots fit well and are warm and dry. I was pleasantly surprised how light they are.

I first bought my regular size 9, but they were too tight with my orthotics. I returned them for a 9.5, and the fit is just right with moderately thick socks. It’s been below 0°F here for a few days, and my feet stayed warm.

Very warm and comfortable. Not sure about the waterproof claim as I haven't encountered slush yet. This is my second pair and I would highly recommend Kamik.

The boots are very comfortable, warm, and feel great. Feels true to size and has good enough arch support to wear them all day. It's a plus that they look great too.

I ordered 3 pairs of boots for my grandchildren as Christmas gifts. The only thing I can say, so far, is they fit and they love the looks of them. They will be using them for a trip to the mountains.

I have not yet worn these out, but the initial feel is perfect. They fit well and are comfortable. Super cute, can be dressed up or down.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! The light gray is very light almost white, but they look great on her! She can't wait to wear them in our next big snow!

Love my new boots, very cute and not too heavy/bulky. I think they are true to size, I wear and 7, ordered a 7 and they fit great with regular socks and feel there is room for wearing thick socks too. Not much arch support, but overall very satisfied with my purchase.

I do not agree with some other reviewers that the boot runs large. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7. It is too short in the toe to wear anything but the thinnest socks. I am returning. However, the boot seems like a really good one, so I am ordering the 8 to see how a better fit turns out.

Very easy to put on and take off. Very warm and stylish too. I wear a size 9 and there’s room for thicker socks. I got the white which I never do because my feet are big but I really like the look and feel. Only downside is no arch support. But I don’t plan on wearing them for hours on end. Just to shovel snow a bit and to walk the dog. I’ll add inserts if I feel I need it.

Picking out boots with a fused left ankle can be dicey. If the shaft is too small, I can't get my foot in. Given all of the lacing these boots have, lefty made it in with no problems. Depending on the cut of the shoe, I go between 9.5/10. I ordered 10 in these, but could have ordered a 9.5 as they feel a bit wide. I live in NE Tennessee, but purchased them for a trip to the Rockies. I did not need to wear thick socks with these because the boots are meant to be warm and took great care of me in 14 degrees F with wind. I never worried about them as I walked in slush, snow and ice and they kept me protected from any moisture. They were fairly comfortable to walk in and my feet don't get too hot when I am back home with our mild winters. A great moderately priced warm boot! Would buy again.

I wear a size 8 (one foot is actually a little smaller than an 8 and one is a little bigger than an 8). Because these only came in full sizes, I went with the 8. Even with my thickest socks, they fit comfortably, a little on the snug side but not enough to bother me. They are easy to get on/off, the laces move smoothly through the holes, and it's easy to get a nice secure fit all the way along the foot and ankle. They fit more like a hiking boot or running shoe, they aren't bulky or heavy like other snow boots. They weren't my favorite style but they felt supportive and flexible. It's already hard to walk in snow, it's nice to have boots that I feel like I can move around in. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes have NO arch support. Luckily the insole can be removed and replaced with a more supportive one without compromising fit.
