For skiing. Having put weight on it is hard to find ski pants that fit and are not too long.

Perfect for winter skiing

I LOVE these pants! They are super cute and stylish. All the other ski pants I've had make me look like the abominable snowman but these are a style I would wear in regular clothes.

These pants are so flattering and comfortable. I have a hard time finding the right snow pants because I have a curvy figure, but these flatter my shape and are extremely easy to move around in.

I've had these pants in black for several years, with my only complaint being that they were much too long for my 5'3" body. I only recently started looking for snow pants in short and was happy to see these came in short. Just received the flag blue in short. Love the color! The length is still a tad long, but sooo much better than the regular length I had before. Can't wait to give them a run down the slopes. The only thing I'd like to see with adjustable waste bands is to ditch the velcro and do snaps or hooks. I'm really curvy so I'm constantly moving to the tightest setting and the velcro can just be irritating if your base layer doesn't stay put.

Perfect ski pants, you feel warm and comfortable inside.

These are my favorite ski pants, I bought them in blue and black. They fit true to size, are very flattering and stylish.

This is used to go skiing. They are slightly long, althought I am very short. They are a bit "bell bottomed", but that is good to go over the ski/snowboard boots.

I have a hard time finding pants to fit me. I love the fit, feel and warmth of these pants. I am so glad I found them just in time for my ski trip.

Good looking and comfortable!!

Super comfortable and flattering. Love the flare at the end thar allows more than enough room for ski boots. Amazing!!! I am 120 and 5' 7". I would probably have done a size small if available but did an xs so a bit tight but still have enough room to fit leggings underneath.

I bought these for a ski trip to Aspen, CO. They fit perfectly and kept me warm and dry! Love that they have the short option as they were the perfect length. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable and attractive pair of ski pants!

This is the first northface pair of pants I got. I am amazed with quality. I put them on they look great (slimming). I don't look bulky like a snow man. The interior fleece keeps you warm in 20sF degree weather. And they keep you dry from constant contact with the snow and slushy. My gloves were soaked but the pants were dry. The Velcro's held up and my pants didn't unbuckle like my previous pair. Absolutely love these apex snow pants.

I'm 5'10 and weigh 130lbs. I typically wear a small in everything and they fit great if I only wear one layer underneath. I do wish I sized up to a medium so I can fit more layers under them cause typically I am always cold and wish these you need to layer to stay warm. I love the slim fit pant.

Gorgeous pants for skiing. Slimming and nice cut. The fit a bit snug for their size - I am usually a medium in active wear but am a large in these because they have a slim cut.

The medium fit really well. I am 5' 7" and 140 lbs. There is enough room for a layer underneath.

Got these pants for skiing this season. I haven't worn them out yet, but I've tried them on and can tell they are going to be great for snow activities (snowboard and ski). They are fully lined inside for warmth, yet comfortable enough to move. They are also perfect for apres activities, if that's your thing too! One thing on the length, I am 5'4" and originally ordered regular length but they were too long, so I returned and ordered short which was the perfect length.

We went on our annual snowboarding trip and these were the best fitting I could find and pure quality! I was more than satisfied.

These pants are AMAZING for skiing. They keep you warm, have a good amount of stretch, and are super flattering. I would NOT wear these pants if it was raining or snowing, and I don't wear them snowboarding, because they are less waterproof than the other ski pants I have from North Face, but I mostly ski in good conditions anyways! Note: I wear an XS almost exclusively in TNF, but for these, I had to go to a small to get on with my leggings.
