These gloves are super warm. I usually wear a medium in gloves but these fit alittle tighter. I love the leash that it comes with and it has a hand warmer compartment.

Not nearly the glove I was expecting for the price. It fits much tighter than other large NF gloves I have owned in the past. Also, I have spent less in the past and felt as though the quality of these gloves isn't nearly as good. Overall, I would give them a 3 out of 5 stars at best.

The gloves were too tight and the palm material wasn't leather. Gloves with heavy insulation fit too tight. I ordered different style gloves with leather palm material and one size larger. They are great.

Fit is nice, good features. Average dexterity and poor warmth. I am not too sensitive to cold, but the low temperature, about -4 with windchill, was very noticable. Seems these are fine for 15-30 range only. Maybe my expectations were too lofty for these reasonably priced gloves. Dissapointed though in my lurchase for such limited usability

Finally bought some more expensive gloves for this ski season. I absolutely loved these for the first month of the season. They are warm, and look really nice. I started to notice how quickly the faux leather on the fingers was wearing out. It really wasn't that big of a deal to me. The real problems came with the velcro. I'm not even halfway through one season with these gloves and already the velcro on both gloves is useless. It has frayed so bad that I can't even sew it back on. So I'm left with two gloves that are wide open on the wrists whenever I wear them. It sucks on cold days and is absolutely terrible on powder days. My gloves I bought last year for $15 help up better than these ones.

Took these gloves on my first skiing trip to Breckenridge... by the 3rd day they had 2 spots where the seams had broken where the faux leather meets cloth. They had also developed small frayed spots on 3 of the finger tips. Gloves weren't as warm as I'd hoped either. I would recommend buying a larger size and a pair of glove liners. I may opt for mitts next time as I was told on the mountain they are usually warmer.
Took the damaged gloves into a NF store only to find out they don't replace on the spot but have to send in and 6-8 weeks later they will ship the product back or give you a voucher for the cost. As far as i'm concerned this is a terrible warranty process. There is no reason they couldn't have replaced the gloves in store that day when I hadn't had the gloves 2 weeks. That reason alone is enough for me to look at other brands. Anyway, I just received my voucher today for the exact retail cost, which sounds good other than the fact that I have to pay tax on another pair of gloves. Their warranty should cover the tax as well.
Final thoughts - poor quality and sub-par warranty process

First the good, the gloves are indeed super waterproof, and very breathable. I am in Pacific North West, and the snow here is super wet. I used these gloves for 6 days and never once I felt that my hands were wet from either the snow or my own sweat, and I have very sweaty hands.
They are not as warm as I expected, but I'd get the mitt version if I ever need them warmer, and one size larger so I can use liners as needed. I don't consider this a negative.
Now the bad, the velcro at wrist just doesn't last. I used them for 6 days since new this season. When I am on chairlift, I take one of both of my hands out so that they dry up a bit, and to use my cell phone, operating my GoPro, opening my backpack, etc. I figure that I open the Velcro maybe 15 times per day. So that's less than 100 times total. The velcro on right hand glove is tearing off, while the stitches remain intact.
For the price I have paid, it's not viable for me to eat the shipping cost and send them back to North Face for evaluation and repairs. And since the Velcro is not causing an issue with the basic function of the gloves, I will keep them as is, and probably cut off the velcro.
I like short glove style in general and never had an issue with any other short gloves before. But as much as I like these gloves, I wish I had gotten the over-glove version. I simply cannot recommend the SG version.

Wow!!!!
These bad boys looked the future on the site and the sales pitch was all kinds immense. It was fair to say I was hooked!!! Goretex for the rain and wet snow and 5 dimensional fitting to keep my little piggies warm!
They arrived along with a pimping hat and super Sherpa gaiter but that where the fun stopped. My 5 dimensions took me to places of cold that I never wanted to experience at 0oC today here in Ottawa. So much so my pockets were warmer!!!
Guess they won't work when it's to be -8oC tomorrow #PocketTime
