I wear Olukai flip flops all the time and find them extremely comfortable so I was a little surprised that these shoes were so flat, amd narrow. I kept the shoes however because I use them for stand up paddling.
They handle getting wet well, dry fast, are easy to slide on and pull off. They are flexible enough to stand on a board, and then protect my feet when I get off on a rough surface. The neoprene like material stretches which makes up for the shoe being a little to narrow for my foot. I definitely won't go hiking in them, but for SUP they are working well.

I received these water shoes for free In exchange for an honest review. I wear an 8.5 but got a 9.5 because i wasnt sure how they would fit & I'm glad i did. They are very snug, I cant wait to try them out at the beach

As soon as my put my feet in these I knew something wasn't right. First, the arch support felt out of place. I took out the innersole and lo and behold, the arch is placed towards the back of the foot, almost starting at the heel! Who's foot is shaped that way?! Haha. So I put the innersole back in and decided to still give the sneakers a try. Well the back of the sneaker had rough edges which scratched the back of my ankle. So I thought, no problem, I'll just mash the backs down because they are designed to also be worn like mules. That was also uncomfortable because the backs don't mash down flat and are too bulky to step on. It's like stepping on socks that have bunched up in your shoe. Also, the rubber soles are just too flat. They need to go back to the drawing board with this one. On a superficial note, I actually got a half size larger than I normally wear and they just fit, so that means they run a half size small as well, BUT they also make your feet look HUGE!
