I've been wearing Dansko clogs for years while standing during surgery multiple days per week. I recently found out about the professional XP 2.0 variant. These are a HUGE upgrade! The cushioned heel makes a world of difference.

Best shoe I ever got. I have the xp ‘s. But the 2.0 are the best.

I can’t believe I’ve worked in the food and beverage industry (the Biz) for as long as I have and am just now buying a pair of Dansko’s. Unmatched comfort and support compared to any other work shoe that I’ve owned in the past. Some of my coworkers told me it is really important to get the sizing right with Dansko’s, so I ordered both the 45 (11.5-12) and the 46 (12.5-13). I’m a 12 across the board in US sizing, and the 45’s which I thought would be the ones were too small. The 46’s however ended up being a perfect fit. So in my case had to size up just a tiny bit and was glad to have been able to try out both sizes. If you work in the Biz then look no further, these are the shoes you need!

I like everything about the shoe but the leather. It isn't very scuff resistant, which means that I walk around on eggshells trying to avoid knocking the shoes against something and coming away with an unsightly blemish. This is my ONLY complaint, but it's important to me. I have also read reviews about the staples coming loose, but I haven't had any issues here. Keep in mind, I haven't even had the shoes one week as of Thanksgiving week 2022.

Shoe quality is great and they are stylish in a simple way. However sizing is quite inconsistent. I have a similar Dansco clog in the same size that is roomy but this pair was significantly smaller and I had to return them.

This Review is for Dansko XP2 . The maker has instructions for determining the proper fit and once you try the shoe on you’ll understand the slightly peculiarity of this. However, I did return this shoe mainly because the rounded leather ridge and the leading edge of the upper vamp which was significantly uncomfortable across my high arch. The shoe itself though, is solidly made through and through with real leather. And the sole is stiff not cushioned, which may seem counterintuitive to comfort, but in fact, is exactly what I need. The praises from so many others in my profession rated the XP2 very high, which says a lot, but feet are unique to the individual…mine just were’t suited to this shoe. Product quality however, was very good.

As a medial professional who stands for long periods, with various fluids dripping on my shoe tops, I have always used the Dankso black box leather clogs - they have a surface coating/finish, so nothing stains them, and those dried-on fluids can be wiped off reliably. However, this brown leather - while great-looking, it stains easily, and those fluids won't really come out. The leather is absorbent. Perhaps a solution would be to spray a water proof coating on them, if you buy them. Alternatively, Dansko could make these in "box leather" as an option for those of us who deal with this sort of issue. I have worn Dansko's for over a decade, and have gone through many. These XP 2.0's are much more comfortable than the 'regular' version, of note.

Had to go down a half size in a exchange order after listening to reviewers who said the shoe was too big on my first selection. The new pair is a half size smaller and perfect for my size 12 feet. I’ve worn dansko clogs for years but I finally have a pair that fit the way they are supposed to: you want a pinky finger width gap between your heel and the back of the shoe and your heel should not touch the back of the shoe when you are standing. It should also rise up and down as you take a step. This is my first time having a pair of the “XP 2.0” and I feel these are much more comfortable than traditional dansko clogs. These have the cushion comfort I have been looking for in a pair of shoes for my nursing job.

Too big. Normally a women’s 12/men’s 10. Another reviewer who wore the same size said a 45 fit her well. I had to a half size down after discussing it with a great Zappos rep, Robyn. I’ve worn danskos for years but I feel this is the first time I’ve had a pair fit correctly.

If you are between sizes, order up a size. The good: The XP2.0 has a more cushioned foot bed than previous versions of Dansko clogs (which I tried to wear years ago and could not tolerate even after breaking them in) and are more comfortable for standing. Also like that they are more light weight than previous versions. The bad: The shoe is a "drop in" style; the vamp (top part of the shoe) is shorter, and the edge of the padded collar hits the bony prominence at the top of my feet, which becomes very uncomfortable - painful when walking. Sadly had to return. I suggest looking at other brands/ styles of drop in shoes with elastic goring along the collar, a longer vamp and a collar that does not put pressure on the bony prominence at the top of the foot.

I thought that age 76 was a little old to learn to walk differently, even for a break-in period. The clogs were very comfortable, though a little narrow. I did not like sitting up so high. The cushioning, in house, seemed excellent. I did not like how the brown oil finish scuffed if you looked at it askance. Marks brushed out with a few hand strokes, but this would drive me cray on a daily basis. My wife noticed the marks on my clogs too.

After 25 years in the retail, hospitality, and now medical world's I finally got a pair of clogs. I'm going to wait and write a full review on the pair in waiting for. These Danko XP 2.0 clogs run small so I'm getting the next size up. I'm optimistic, even the shoes that were too small felt promising! Properly sized I'm sure they'll be perfect.

I really wanted these to work, to tight in the toes and the actual length is 1/2 size smaller.

Item shipped to me was clearly used and abused by someone else and then sold to me as new! Both shoes had mud on on the soles and the toes were scratched completely through and through. I am disappointed and disgusted with the item I was sent

Way too large. I used to wear 44's but realized 43 fit better, but these were as bad as the 44s/ Please issue a r3efund. I've ordered a size 42 directly from Dansko.

DO NOT BUY THESE if you are expecting typical Dansko clogs. There is a padded layer that is very uncomfortable if you are used to the hardness inside. My 4th time wearing these, my feet are killing me - midshift on a hospital floor. Total waste of money.

Fell apart right away. Not good use for commercial kitchen use.

Worst shoe ever. Staples started coming out after 2 months. Filed a complaint to Dansko with NO follow up from them. They do not warranty their shoes! Buy a different brand. Customer service is non-existent.
