I am returning these, simply because they don't feel like they would stay on my feet well. I bought the maroon color and really liked them. The footbed is identical in feel and cut to my Tide2 Vionic Sandals so I am guessing that it is the same thing. The difference is the footbed on these is a microsuede. I really wanted to love these, but I am afraid they would be more trouble for me to keep on my foot. I have a high arch and average width. I purchased the 9 in these and think the 9.5 would have served me better as the toes were touching the end(9.5 is what i get the Tide 2's in) but they would then be even larger than these. I recommend these if you think your foot is a bit wider and these would stay on.

I bought these because I wanted a shoe that was cuter than sneakers and still supportive. I've spent so long buying shoes with removable insoles and buying orthotics to place in them.....it was a relief to find both in one. I've been wearing orthotics for 6 years and vionic has nailed it!! These shoes are delightfully soft on your feet and even with kids and outdoors wear extremely well. They stay looking great. I have wide feet and they make my feet look darling without sacrificing comfort.

This shoe gives excellent arch support. They are comfortable right out of the box. The elastic straps add extra security, without feeling too binding. But they kind of make the sound of a flip flop hitting your heal when you walk. If that bothers you, you might want to pass on this shoe. Or just give it a try, then decide for yourself. Zappos has an excellent return policy if you aren't happy.

Wanted to like these as they are really cute but the elastic stretches enough with each step that they shoes will not stay on. I kept slipping right out of them.

These shoes are so cute and I wanted them to work so badly. But they run WAY big which made the "flip flop" effect really bad. I'm not sure that even going down a full size will cause these shoes to fit. I've never had a pair of Vionic run so big before. Sadly, they are being returned.

Vionic shoes tend to run wide (as this model did) and that really works for my pancake foot. These are pretty cute shoes and arch support was good however the elastic across the top made for a weird flip flop action with the back of the shoe, it was loud and slappy. These had to go back, will try for another model I usually do have good luck with the fit, support and style of Vionic's .

I loved the look of these shoes and as always they fit well with excellent arch support. Unfortunately the elastic straps were too stretchy and did not hold the shoe close to the foot, they moved like a flip flop. I also felt that the elastic would soon stretch further and then perish, which would make the shoes unwearable. Disappointed, as I really liked the colour and look, but they have been returned

Super cute, great fit, excellent arch support. (I wish all footbeds were shaped like the one in this shoe.) But, I missed the part about the crisscross material being elastic, and it was very elastic, so there's not much to hold this shoe on your foot. It was like wearing a very stiff flip-flop with nothing for your toes to grip. I could have stood still all day, but walking was almost impossible.

I love these shoes. I own them now in two different colors and wear them probably twice a week. They do make a "clip clop" sound as you walk , but that doesn't bother me. Nice square toe box and good arch support keeps me super comfortable all day long.

Shoe looked better on, however, flapped when walking felt like I was wearing flip flops. Had to return.

Too large.

Too long and too wide to offer the expected fit.

The elastic crisscross bands and too stretchy, so the shoes flap when I walk. Unfortunately they are going back.

The fit and appearance was fine. I must however agree with the other reviewer who commented on the straps being too stretchy and not holding the shoe correctly on the foot. They did not fall off, but had that annoying 'thwapping' akin to wearing flip flops. Annoying for me the wearer, and anyone within earshot.

Weird fit-very loose midfoot, less than typical flipflops and I was sure that as the top bands stretched it would get looser.

I had an older version of these (with orange straps) and wanted to replace them because they are cute, but also a life saver when my plantar fasciitis flares up. I read the other reviews about how they "flap" and figured it couldn't be that bad because my old ones were great. Wow, my apologies to the previous reviewers for not taking you seriously! These are awful - the straps are like a very, very stretchy elastic, so there's nothing to hold them onto your foot when you walk, except your toes gripping for dear life. And then the THWACK sound as they snap back onto your heel. Please Vionic, bring back your old style! These are immediately going back. So disappointing.

My foot slipped in these. I felt that I could turn an ankle easily. Vionic is usually my brand of choice because of the comfort and arch support. Not these. They are also very chunky looking. Not too flattering.

Sorry Vionic, loved the first version of this shoe with the stronger stretch laces. Had at least 4 pair of them. But these are somehow missing the boat and I think it's because the straps are just too loose. I had read about the "flip flop" problem with these and agree. They perform just like a flip flop because the straps do not hold your foot tighter. So bummed as I LOVE the look and style of these. Sent them back. With different straps, I would try these again. :(

love the look of this shoe and its comfortable. However when you walk the elastic is so stretchy they are like a flip flop. The criss cross is way to stretchy. Vionic almost got it right this time. Frustrating as I really like the look of this shoe and the base it is built on.
