These are very cute boots, but fit very snugly. So snugly that it will not be possible to wear them with anything but the thinnest socks. Will be returning for the next size.

Run really small. Had to go up a full size. I love the style, the color, the fit now that I have the correct size. Even my husband commented on how attractive they are. That's a first.

I was hesitant after reading all the reviews that the boots are way to small but went for it anyway. Glad I did! I do recommend going a half size bigger. I am a 9.5 (on the dot) and I ordered a 10 and there perfect! They are a little snug but it could be my cankles haha! All around I am very happy with my purchase!

These boots did not fit the purpose for me. I needed warm boots to watch my son’s football games in. Cold, sitting, moisture at times, and wind in South Dakota. I trialed these during a dry 30 degree with minimal wind and my toes were cold. These might be fine for movement or milder temps, but not the protection I was looking for. Thanks for the great return policy Zappos.

I wanted to love this boot, but it just did not fit right. I looked at the previous reviews and thought I would give it a try. They are a snug fit so you cant wear thick socks and they just feel like they are not made well. I went up a size and they were still snug but yet too big. I decided best to return.

Awesome boot. Very comfortable right out of the box. I live in far northern Wisconsin where we got 60” of snow last month. I needed a taller boot that was both warm along with being waterproof as I’m cutting trail through my yard in snow up to my bum. This boot fits the bill. You can cinch it up either tight or looser if you need to tuck in pants. I normally wear a 9 but with all winter boots I size up for thicker socks. I sized up on this to a 10 and frankly it’s not big or lose on at all. And huge plus, the larger size does not make my feet look larger! Thanks North Face :-)

I did not seem to have the too small of size issue as did others. I typically wear a 9.5, sometimes 10 in running shoes so I opted to purchase the 9.5 in this boot and it fits great. That includes room to wear nice thick wool socks. I ordered numerous boots to try and meet my needs: 1. waterproof 2. warm enough to withstand long periods of time in the snow 3. tall enough so that I could walk through the snow without it going down the boot and 4. comfortable, and this was the first one of many that did. Promptly after receiving them, I went on a weekend trip where I spent much of the days outside in 20 degree snowy weather. My feet stayed dry and warm. They were also comfortable enough that sometimes I didn't even bother to remove them when spending some time indoors. The quick lace setup makes it easy to ensure that they are secure without requiring 10 minutes to put them on. Plus they are cute.

I actually loved these but when I tried them on, the left shoe squeaked like crazy! It felt like something wasn't secure in the heel. That would've driven me nuts so I returned them. Minus the squeak I really loved them.

I read the reviews and order a 1/2 size bigger but probably should have ordered a full size bigger. The shoe did not feel very quality. I'm used to wearing UGG boots so the difference was not negotiable. These are going back and I'm going to get the UGG snowboots.

Following the reviews, I ordered up a half size to size 9. They were still too small. These boots are easily 1.5 sizes smaller than marked. For example, I ordered a different style of North Face boots in a smaller size - 8.5 - I compared the boot sole length against each other, and this boot (the size 9) was much shorter than the other style from North Face that was marked 8.5.

These boots are really attractive. Very much what I was hoping for in the appearance department, but unfortunately, they ran a bit small in the length. They are generous in the toe and mid foot area, however, so going up a half or whole size in the length is going to make these too wide to be comfortable for me. I wish it wasn't so! They are really cute and would be an amazing addition to the fall/winter wardrobe.

Stylish but NOT AT ALL WARM. It's highway robbery for TNF to charge so much for these! Yeah, they're cute and all, but when I wore them in Yellowstone Park over Christmas / New Year's, they totally let me down. It wasn't even that cold - between 10 and 20 degrees, and no wind, AND I had snowpants on (to keep my legs, and therefore hopefully my feet, warm)! Luckily I had charcoal handwarmer packs with me so I could put them in... that made them less comfortable, of course, but at least I could then tolerate the outdoors and not be miserable while trying to enjoy Old Faithful with my family. Such a disappointment, and so the search for a truly warm boot (that is also stylish) continues...

These boots serve their purpose. The keep my feet warm and dry in the cold/snowy weather. They are very comfortable as well.

I wear and 8 and bought a size 8.5. It fits great. Very comfortable and warm. Definitely a sturdy and well made winter boot.

Love these boots! Read the reviews and ordered a whole size larger. Am exchanging to 1.5 sizes above my normal so I can have some wiggle room and be able to wear thick socks.

I usually wear a size 8 in boots, so I ordered a size 8.5 and wore thick socks and these boots fit perfectly. The comfort level is surprisingly amazing and my feet stayed warm and dry. The North Face is an excellent brand and I highly recommend these boots for cold/snowy weather.
