Very comfortable and well made boots.

There are amazing boots!!! Leather Horween simply the best, out sole outstanding is ultra comfort i get used to Iron Rangers. These boots is closest to a walk on clouds.

I purchased these thinking they would fit the same as the Frye engineer 12R, normally wear a size 9 in those, the size 9 in the John Addison Engineer were a littl too small...So I had to return them. The quality seemed very good.

My husband ordered and loved the style, however they were super wide in the shaft and his foot would slip out when walking. The width said medium but felt much bigger than that. Had to return.

Bought these for my husband, and they are gorgeous. My issue is not with the boot themselves, but Zappos apparent lack of QC. The short story is I gave these as a bday gift to my husband after seeing how much they were discounted for such an awesome style. Unfortunately, we discovered that they had very obviously been worn before, for an extended period of time, thus I'm assuming the discount. The insole was completely broken in, and the heels had already been worn down in places and scuffed up around the exterior wood block. Super disappointed in Zappos for misleading that these were a brand new pair of boots.

These boots are beautiful. Look bold. The leather belts could use thicker leather. I’m afraid with time the belt holes will give.

With Fryes I vary between 9 and 9.5. These fit great with 9.5. Width was good. I don’t have a wide foot. I wear a 9 in iron rangers. I love the styling and leather of these boots. I wore them pretty extensively the first day. No problems and I’m sure they will break in more.

Even though these are made with great quality the leather compared to other Frye Boots seemed very thin, which gave them a "made in china" feel. There were a few leather imperfections, but not a big deal very acceptable.
