These booties fit, but it’s because I ordered a half size up. I like that they have a removable insole so you can customize the foot bed. They’re rugged and well made. I purchased them for walking my dog in rain and they’ll be just fine for that. Thank you Zappos for being such a wonderful company!

These are cute boots but I must return them for two reasons. I have a wide foot and these are too narrow and secondly, they are way too hard to get onto my foot.

Had these for about a week now. No break in period needed, comfy right out of the box. The squarish toe takes a bit of getting used to. But cute, comfy and nice shoes.

The foot bed fit just right. The problem was trying to pull the boots on; it was very difficult to insert my foot. Sadly, I returned them.

I ordered a size 9 which I normally wear and had to exchange for a 9.5 because they were too small and too narrow. The 9.5 fit good and I can wear with a thicker sock also. Seem to be fairly warm for not being a snow boot.

I was really excited for this shoe after wearing multiple generations worth of Merrell’s captiva launch. Unfortunately, this shoe runs at least 1 size smaller than the captiva and isn’t as comfortable. The finish is also very oily and the mid-height is awkward for tucking in skinny jeans.

I have Merrell's old style boots and love them. Was looking for another boots to take a place of the old one that I have, thought this one could be.... But this one is narrower than the old style one and size was bit smaller too. Cute style but it was more rounder in person than I wanted it to be.

Had difficulty getting one boot on and the other I simply gave up on. The one boot that I did get on didn't feel like it fit my foot correctly. Back they go. So disappointed.

I thought these were pretty comfortable although there was a lot of room inside the boot. I don't mean size wise but on top of my foot and just everywhere. They also looked a little "moon boot-y". I normally love Merrell's and found this to be a comfortable boot but it's not super cute in my opinion, at least on my giant feet!

I am a little disappointed based on the price point. They are simply ok. Moderately comfortable and true to size. Nothing to complain about and nothing to brag about.

I really wanted to like these boots. I have ordered 9.5 from Merrell before ... but these were too small. Very disappointed that the main part of the boot is suede ... I wanted smooth leather that could be conditioned and polished. Have to return them. I just want the same Merrell boots I've had for 15 years, but no luck.

I ordered these in my usual size, and they fit well. I have wide-ish toes, narrow heel, pretty flat arches. But the way it fit around my ankle was odd. The top is almost too tight to the leg at the top, and when combined with the wide, rounded style of the footbed, they looked kind of dorky. The sides rubbed my ankle bones at times when walking. They don’t seem to have much arch support either. I’m exchanging them for the same boot in the higher shaft, I’m hoping they look better.

I definitely expected more from Merrell. At this price point there should be some good thing to say, but these were so similar to a generic Walmart shoe, I have to return them. Footbed is not soft or supportive. The upper may be leather (?) but is also stiff and has no lining. The sole is also stiff, although not terribly heavy. The fit was fine, I am usually a size 8 with a medium-wide width and I ordered an 8.5 because normally Merrell fits a little smaller on me.

Shame on Merrell. They used to make fantastic boots but now are either going to a different factory in China or have cut costs so much that their boots look and feel CHEAP. I have had 3 pair of Merrell boots that are basically just like this one. The first pair - bought almost 10 years ago were brilliant and I still have them. This last pair is laughable.

I returned it because it was a bit too high. WHEN will Merrill make the Captiva boot again? My current Captivas , the zippers broke. Ug. So bummed. Costs $50 a boot for a new zipper.
