Wore it a few times for hikes around the lake district and the UK, incredibly warm and comfy, didn't make my head too hot or itchy at all, perfect for all weathers

Nice material, just feels like a high quality product. In comparison to the bird head, the grotto is a bit bigger and in my opinion a bit warmer. The downside would be due to it being warmer it is also a bit less breathable.

The feeling of the warmth and the beautiful looks it has to it makes me a new man on the slopes I highly recommend

Bought coloured Rune and Black at Vaughan mills mall today. Fits perfectly on my head. The quality is good.

The toque is pretty nice - I've worn it for an entire season now. The fit is great, even for my big head (I usually wear snapbacks on the second-largest setting). That said, I agree with other reviewers about the quality. While it's a solid, thick, and warm toque overall, it had some fraying straight out of the box, which was pretty disappointing given the brand and price.

Nice beanie though doesn't fit everyone just right.

When I purchased this item, I was originally quite happy, the employees at the store I bought this product from even went out of their way to grab another new toque from the back of the store. The toque is beautiful, and the colourways are all incredible. However, I cannot get over the overwhelming amount of piling and loose threads. For seventy Canadian dollars, this quality is inferior and rarely what I would expect from a brand like Arc'teryx. Overall, the quality is quite average. I understand that the toque is made of recycled polyester, but I would much rather see a toque made out of 100% cotton over a reusable, sustainable material, which results in intense pilling and overall bad knit quality. 100% polyester is asking for quality that will have poor longevity and is not sustainable in the long term as it is mostly plastics.

Bought 3 last year. Has a great look/fit but unfortunately pills easily and loses shape. Begins to look old rather quick. For the price point on a beanie I would expect better quality.

It's fine for the first month or two. The fabric pills quickly. Doesn't stand up to a fabric shaver. Quality doesn't match its price. Save your money.
