Saludos.

The pack did't come with a Forward pull waistbelt adjustment as advertised.

I really want to like this pack! I have been using my Alpha FL 45 for work, and loved the simplicity and how well it carried. I was hoping this was essentially the same bag with a shovel pocket. Unfortunately it is too small to carry the necessary equipment for most ski touring days. I find myself having to decide whether I should leave behind my down jacket or tarp, both of which are critical elements of my safety system; and a rope and glacier gear would take up most of the pack leaving little room for anything else. I think a big part of this is the shovel blade sucks up a good chunk of the packs volume, which could maybe be fixed by shaping the back and side panels of the pack to better accommodate the shovel. A few other turnoffs: -No Ice axe attachment or room for small axe in tool pocket -Top opening does not have a storm collar and the bag gets filled with snow easily -Helmet carry under the top flap only works when the bag is not stuffed full, which is not often -Ski carry makes skis sit far back from center of gravity. This bag works well for very minimalist tours. With a bigger size and a few changes this bag would be amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to get a new one.

This pack is well made and when used for trips with minimal gear it works well. For colder days, longer trips or more gear intensive trips it just doesn't have enough space despite being the same size on paper as several other ski packs I have owned. Constant hacks are required to get an ice axe on the exterior, add an exterior helmet carrier to get more space inside, and pack in a way that is functional and fits. I have used it on about 20 ski days this winter and only really enjoyed it on the short simple trips. I also find that snow gets into the top on storm days, the waist buckle side adjustment system loosens easily while travelling, and the pack lid buckles are a bit finicky with big gloves. With a bit more space, a lid that covered the top closure for storm days, an ice axe attachment and regular hip belt adjustment I would be a fan, but unfortunately so far it is a miss for me.
