As I live in rain-soaked central Virginia and have a dog, I need to wear waterproof shoes year-round. These OluKai Pumehana Hulu Waterproof booties fill the bill. I liked the style with laid-back flat heels and ease of pull-on. They are also warm with a thin, sewed-in felt lining, like in the warmest Sorel boots but the felt lining is not removable. They have almost no arch support because of the flat heel/sole so they are not the best for doing alot of walking, but comfortable from first wearing - they do not have to be broken in like alot of waterpropof boots. They sort of look like slippers, but the toe area is quite hard, but not uncomfortable.

Love the shoes. Very comfortable and warm.

Definitely had to go a half size up. I wear a 7.5 normally but went with an 8 in these. They fit great. They don't have much support for my high arches, and there's not a lot of padding. There's enough room to add a padded insole though! Didn't get to test how waterproof they are, but they seem like they would do just fine. This shoe is a good mix between boot and sneaker. Exactly what I was looking for.

I order a half size up based on the reviews and when I first put them on I was like oh they might be too big without socks but with socks perfect. Then after having them on without socks for about 5 minutes they felt perfect. Definitely recommend half size up from your normal size, for me I’m 6.5 and ordered a 7 and I love them.

No side zipper so theyre a bit difficult to pull on.

I started wearing Olukai about two years ago and loved the canvas low cut shoe. Just reordered one of that shoe and decided to try the boot. I have been wearing a week and it is becoming my 'go to' fall weather shoe. That means it is comfortable and provides good support for my rather high arches. Insert seems the same as for the canvas shoe but slightly different material.

Perfect fit as usual with Olukai. I like the fact they are waterproof too.

I did like these boots, but the seam on the front area pressed on a painful part of my foot. I would also like a little more arch support. Very nice boot, however.

After reading others' reviews about the toe is tight and it is hard to slip in, I ordered 1/2 size bigger. (BTW, the size helper did nothing helpful. Whatever a brand that I chose with different sizes came up with no adjustment. So I could be size 7 or 7.5 or 8 or 8.5, according to that.) However, 99% of time, I wear size 7, so ordered 7.5, considering some room for toes. It worked out well. It is easy to flip my feet in, toes are comfortable and I love the style. I have several Olukai flip flops and love them all.

I was looking for some chelsea style boots with a low or no heel, that I could wear all day while exploring the city either at home or on a trip. I wanted them to be waterproof or water resistant, and ideally they would also look kind of nice so I could walk into a nicer restaurant or bar and not feel dumpy (and maaaybe a casual work setting). Also, i have wide feet, so regular widths rarely work well for me. I have some Olukai sandals that i love, so i wanted to give these a short. The 7.5 felt too snug all around and I considered trying an 8 instead. However, I ended up returning them (and settled on a Hush Puppy Cately hiker instead).

These are totally flat, no arch support. The toe is really narrow so while they are fine width-wide in the rest of the shoe, the toe box is too uncomfortable.

This is a good looking bootie and I was excited about them being waterproof (I live in Portland, OR). Unfortunately they were far too narrow in the toe box and pinched my toes (I do not have wide feet). Had to return.
