To look at, I absolutely love these shoes. Even after trying them on and realizing that other reviewers' comments were accurate and that the shoes rubbed terribly at the heel, I kept them anyway. However, after a single day of walking around in them, I realized that it just wouldn't work. Even if you're desk bound all day (like me), you eventually have to walk somewhere and that's where the problem is. The way the heel of the shoe is cut makes it rub on the heel/ankle in a very uncomfortable way. As you walk around, you know that in no time, you'll end up with massive blisters.

These are really pretty shoes, and despite the pointed toe, are pretty roomy in the toe box. However, as other reviewers have noted, these will eat your heels. I wore these for a couple of hours the first time, and then the second time, I meant to switch them out after a short time but was too busy in meetings. I wasn't walking a ton, but my heels were bleeding after 5-6 hours. It took more than 3 weeks for the scabs to finally heal. There must be a design issue/defect if this is happening to multiple customers. It's too bad, because the shoes themselves are beautifully made and the leather itself (except at the heel) is not stiff or cheap. Unfortunately I have to recommend avoiding these, unless you can keep them at your desk and only wear for very short periods. I am going to take them to the shoe repair shop near me to see if there's anything to be done. Expensive mistake -- I don't think I can return mine after two days' wear.

Great arch support and really comfortable. Based on other reviews, I did add a Pedag heel grip, which seems to have resolved any discomfort noted by others. I do hate to have to 'modify' an expensive shoe like this - but, the style is so cute! and I need the arch support. I can now wear these all day, for days, with no issues at all. Very pleased to have found Vionic, and hope they keep coming up with stylish and comfortable shoes.

I really, really loved this style. The strap made it very cute! However, the back rubbed my heel and they just had to go back. It was a really bummer.

I almost kept these shoes because of the arch support. I think they would have worked for my feet without my having to wear my orthotic inserts. The problems that led to my decision to return them were that they felt a bit loose and may have flip flopped if the leather stretched at all, and the toe box was too tight and would not have been very comfortable to work in. As work shoes, I’d be wearing them while on my feet for 8 hours. If I’d been buying them to wear in virtually any other situation, I would likely have kept them.

I took the advice of several other reviews and ordered these a half size smaller. Big mistake! Now I have to return them and reorder my usual size. They are very cute, so I am looking forward to getting the right size.

I LOVED the look of this shoe. Normally, with a wide, I can drop down 1/2 a size - however that was too small. I order my normal size 7.5, stayed with the Wide. It was still way too tight! Not sure if I am going to order another size or give up

Very cute shoe but it does rub at the heel. And if you have narrow heels, expect to walk out of these. Unfortunately, when I tried them on at the store and at home, I didn't have a problem. But walking from one business meeting to the next, I literally walked right out of them! I tightened the top strap but still walked out. I will try to buy padding for the back heel, but I'm not sure I can salvage these. Definitely order a 1/2 size down. That might have helped me - though I'm not sure what that the toe box would still be comfortable. Hopefully Dr. Scholl's has a solution.

Love the style of the shoes. Very comfortable on the bottom of the shoes. The only part that hurt my feet was the back of the shoe. It would definitely give me blisters so I had to return it.

These are AWESOME!!! I think I need them in every color?! Very comfortable.

Others are talking about the heel rubbing— that wasn’t a problem for me at all. My issue was that the crisscross elastic bands dug into the top of my feet and after a few hours, I had to pull off the shoes to let my poor feet breathe. I’m keeping them, though, because I believe those bands will stretch, giving my feet some relief. Overall, they were comfortable, cute, and a good fit for my size 7 wide feet.

I loved these so much I ordered the black and brown. The style is great with jeans for a dressed up look and dress pants for work. I wear them at the office nearly every day. I normally need shoes with a wider toe box and struggle with pointy toed shoes but these do not cause a problem for me. I have been struggling with Plantar Faciaitis for several months and these shoes provide the support I need. When my foot is really inflamed I switch out the Vionic insole with the Dr Scholls Plantar Faciaitis insole and they still fit great.

After trying the last of several styles of Vionic flats in my normal width, medium, all have been too wide. I love the arch support and styles, but they just don't fit my foot.

I have a wider toe box. Sometimes I can get away with not buying wide if they’re leather. These were not gonna give so I had to return them. These would be perfect for someone with average width feet. A small style note, the pointy front seemed a little large. I suppose this design was to increase the comfort, but it detracts from the design

Had to return these as they were just a bit to big....wanted a 10.5 but no luck. So sad as I loved them

So I'm on what feels like an eternal search for brown ballet flats. I ordered these in the Medium width, and it looked like I was trying to stuff a potato into this cute shoe, and the sides puffed out when I stood up in them. I ordered them in Wide width, and that thankfully did the trick- no more potato and no more puffing. I have narrow heels (big feet and narrow heels- aren't I lucky??) so I think that I'll put one of those pads in the heels to keep the shoes on when I walk. I normally do not wear a Wide shoe.

I read a lot of reviews before ordering these shoes. I added heel protectors right away and did not suffer any issues mentioned in other reviews. The back of the shoes are stiff, so spend a couple dollars so you can enjoy the shoes. I did find the front seam does rub a bit on the knuckle of my first toe. I do not think ordering wide would have helped that. Definitely not bad enough to keep me from wearing several times a week in concrete floors.

Beautiful style. Casual, but with gold buckle and mary jane strap, can be dressed up as well. I am returning and reordering in wide as pointy toe box was too snug. I don't normally wear a wide, hoping the wide bill be exactly what I need to make this work.

Nice day-to-day flat. Originally ordered the 8.5 but it was just a little too snug across my slightly wide feet, so went with the 9 and it was a better fit for the width. It's nice to have a flat that is still dressy and not a ballet flat (which I do love and wear).

I loved the look of this shoe. It is really cute and stylish on. Other reviewers complained about the heel chafing. My experience was that I did notice the shoe scrape my heel a bit once, momentarily. However, I felt this shoe was a rare find because it has a normal width in front with a narrow heel so it actually stayed on my foot while I walked instead of me walking out of it in the back, as happens with most ballet flats. (I have a normal width forefoot, a narrow heel and a high arch). I was tempted to keep these, but the arch support just wasn't high enough for me. And, strangely, these shoes were Really noisy and squeaked constantly while I walked which definitely cuts down on the cool factor. In the end, since I was looking for a shoe that would be comfortable all day on my feet, I had to return them.

I typically wear a 7 1/2 (sometimes an 8, never a 7), and both the 7 and 7-1/2 were too big; the shoes wouldn't stay on my feet. Length on the 7 seemed about right. I've never been able to find any shoes in this style ( a shoe that doesn't have some strap higher up on the foot to help keep it on) and have them stay on my feet, so maybe its just an issue with my feet.

Returning....too large for me. Shoes quite loose. Love the style with the little strap...waiting till half size smaller in brown becomes available.

Ouch, ouch! Pinched toes! Cute style but unable to wear these so back they go. I love Zappos easy return system!!

The pointed toe box killed the comfort of what Vionic shoes are known for.
