I first bought the Merrell World Vue Lace Waterproof in black-slate (aka dark brown) and they were comfortable right out of the box. The style also worked well for both the office and with jeans. I love how well they stay on the heel. I liked them so much, I bought another pair in black.

These shoes are brown with tan and brown soles. I don't know how they can be called 'Black Slate." I'm returning these brown shoes.

I bought the black shoes. They are comfortable and attractive and go nicely with jeans or khakis. I love Merrill’s.

So far, so good. Comfortable. You can walk for miles without blisters ;)

I ordered two pair of these Vue shoes from you, with the intention of keeping both. Both were (supposedly) the same size 10.5 USA, and width (Medium); one was Dark Earth color and fit perfectly. The other pair (Black Slate) clearly felt larger, which is why I'm returning them. In looking at the shoeboxes, I noticed that the Black Slate pair was marked 'Waterproof", while the Dark Earth ones weren't. Could that be the difference? Doesn't seem likely, but...

I'm happy with the size even though I listed it as feeling half a size bigger. To go to an 8.5 W would likely be too small.

Comfortable, fashionable, effective

Fit like a glove!! Love how nice it looks, so I bought in black color as well. I usually wear 9 but wanted to add an extra insole, so bought 1/2 size bigger and wider.

Since Merrell got rid of the Epiction, this is the next best thing.

I have always been a fan of Merrel, these shoes are a perfect example of their quality and style!

If you go back and forth between sizes 11 1/2 & 12, go for the size 12. Depending on the shoe, I usually wear 11 1/2. These where too small. Size 12 fits perfect. Very comfortable!

Fit and size and width were all good. The toe is more square than I'd like, but I wear them anyway because fashion isn't my highest priority. Good for work trips because the waterproof seems to help them not pickup stains.

So good I purchased a second pair! I purchased these dark brown shoes first. They are my business casual work shoes I wear every day. They fit my wide feet very well though I may purchase a different insert for more cushion. They are starting to wear well on the outside and are darkening even more and looking great. I liked these so much I also purchased the full black versions.

These have become my go-to for business casual work shoes. They have a fantastic look, fit great (13 Wide), and so far wear well. Time will tell if the interior material will hold up, but I am very happy with this purchase.
