I am normally a 7 1/2. After reading all of the reviews, I decided to order an 8. They were a bit too tight. I wanted to return and order an 8.5 but there were none available so I ordered a 9. They were too big. When I went back to look again there was one 8.5 available. They fit fine and are very comfortable. They have a good grip on the sole. So order a whole size up would be my suggestion....and if you have a wide foot these are not for you. I am happy with them once I got the right size for me.

I purchased a half size larger than normal after reading other reviews, but they were still a bit tight. Definitely not comfortable enough to keep.

Ordered these as Columbia has always been my go to Winter boot. I have a wide foot (just a tad above a medium width) & always order a half size up in boots esp if I want to wear socks. The top of the boot was to snug for comfort on top of my foot. I had a difficult time even getting my foot into the boot despite having a zipper on the side. Once I got my foot in, it was too snug with even a thin sock on & toes felt squished up in the front of the boot. The upside is it's a light weight boot & seems very warm. Traction is great. My feet got toasty warm very fast. I ordered a different style Winter Columbia boot that fit fine, these I will be returning.

Love these boots but ordered half size up and although they fit, I won’t be able to wear thick socks with them. Still love them though.

I really love these! They are a snug fit, like the other reviews say. I have a narrow foot, but not narrow enough for the narrow width, it's just at the narrow end of a regular width. These are snug with wool socks, and too tight with thicker hiking socks. Extremely easy to get on and off.

I thought these were great boots. The color is beautiful. They had the quality I have come to expect from Columbia. I read reviews and ordered a size up to a 12 as there is no 11.5. I normally wear an 11. These fit me so snug and without socks! They had to go back. I bought another pair of Columbia boots, ordering up a size. They fit great, and I can wear socks. Seems Columbia doesn't run true to size. All reviews I read advise sizing up.

Order at least a full size up and don’t consider if you have wider feet. They are okay, aren’t incredibly comfortable but may just take some time breaking them in.

These are lovely a bit snug but not tight but you do need to size up I normally wear a 8.5 and purchased a pair in that size they fit but no extra room for socks so this purchase I went to a 9 and they feel better and I can wear socks and they are the warmest boots I have ever worn!

Definitely waterproof and kept my feet very warm even with thin socks and with melted snow inside the boot. Very comfortable and light. The snug fit kept my boots from being pulled off my feet when my feet kept sinking into deep snow. Love the convenience of the zipper and was able to get the boots on and off my feet easily.

I liked everything about the boots except they ran too small, tried to order in next size up but were not in stock. But I really liked them just wish i could have got them to fit! P.S. I LOVE ZAPPOS!!!

I paid attention to the other reviews before ordering and went with a size 8 medium even though I normally wear a 7/7.5 depending on the shoe. The 8 was too tight around the ankle, top of my foot and in the toe area without thick socks. I gave them to my Mom, who normally wears a size 6 in shoes, and the 8 fits her perfectly. They were a tiny bit loose, but with thicker socks will be perfect. Overall, very nicely made and comfortable. I had also ordered the Columbia Ice Maiden II in 8 medium and those fit me great. Keeping both pairs and Mom ended up with some nice boots, too.

After reading the reviews I ordered up half a size. It fit perfectly. It was a little snug with my heavier wool socks, but the heel didn’t move around when I walked. I was looking for a shorter lightweight boot for everyday wear and this is it. I wanted an easy on easy off boot to get thru airport security. This works. I like them.

I bought two pair of these super cute boots, one 7 the other 7 1/2 to get the right fit. Normally I wear a 7 but found them to be a little tight so I kept the half size larger and returned the 7. Cute and comfortable, can't wait for cooler weather to wear these!

I generally wear a 9 in every shoe except a few - and Columbia is one. I will need to size up at least a full size. I also have narrow feet and these fit perfect (almost snug) in width, which is good for someone like me. But someone with Medium width it may be too tight and definitely too snug for someone with wide feet.

Considering all the reviews stating that this boot ran small, I still ordered it in my regular size and it was indeed too small when it arrived. The color/larger size is no longer available so I had to return for a refund.

Runs very narrow. I really like the boot though. Not sure if I’ll return them. I’ll wear around the house for a day and see if they may stretch.

WAY TOO NARROW COMPARED TO THE EXACT PAIR FROM A FEW YEARS AGO. I HAD TO RETURN THEM.

I consistently wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8.5 on the advice of other reviewers. The 8.5 were the right size to be worn, but the footbed is too narrow. Tried them on with thin wool socks, but still to tight and I'd never be able to wear thicker wool socks with these so am returning.

I LOVE these boots! They’re cute, easy on-off and soooo comfy! Like walking on clouds. They’re also nice and slim-looking for insulated boots. Not bulky at all. I got them to walk my puppy around the neighborhood and to use around the campsite in the cold, wet PNW fall/winter days. I’m a solid 7 in boots but sized up to 7.5 to accomodate my heavy-weight Smartwool socks for extra warmth. Perfect fit.

These boots are solid! well made and look nice too. However, I had to return them. No fault of the boot....I have arthritis on the top of one foot and couldn't get my foot in, even though I ordered a size 6. I usually wear 5 1/2. I think they would wear well in rain or snow. I would recommend these boots.
