Great travel jacket. Seems to breathe well and deal with temperatures. The outer shell of the jacket is made out of a tougher material, similar to a chore coat.
Despite being thin, the jacket does block most of the wind. The high collar helps keep it off of your neck.
The jacket pairs well with whatever you throw at it.

Just a great jacket. Looks great, keeps the rain off, and my wife loves it. It's not particularly thick; it insulates but it's not a replacement for a puffy. So I wear this over a casual dress shirt, or a wool sweater, or over an OR hoodie. On cold days, this coat plus a down vest = perfect.

This is now my go to jacket and I wear it daily. It is suitable for a wide range of temperatures and offers adequate protection from the wind and snow. I have not worn it in the rain yet so can't comment on the jacket's ability to shed rain. Since purchasing it temps here have ranged from -7C to +7C. The jacket is perfect for evening walks or snowshoeing in the low alpine.

I really like the style and the warmth. I did find it fit a bit smaller for a "standard fit" item. I typically wear XL for trim fit and L for standard. This jacket is just a bit snug in the L size, not sure if the XL would be just right or a little too big.

I love this jacket. This is my second coat by Outdoor research. My first one is a rain shell that is also great. It's unlike most other jackets out there in design. I especially like the gold lining with the green outside. It's also surprisingly warm for such a thin jacket though this is not a winter jacket - more of a spring/fall layer. I was hoping for something a little warmer and ended up buying a second, warmer jacket by TNF instead but I kept this one because I like it's looks so much. It also works well as a layer beneath my new thicker down coat.

somewhat durable design, fits nicely and great pockets ... i got this as casual wear for walking around the city on wet days/nights. It's warm and light weight, not bulky at all.

Jacket fits well sleeve length is on the long side which is nice since most of the time when bending at the elbows jackets come up short

I really like the added durability the canvas on the shoulders and arms offers. Hopefully I won't rip this jacket as quickly as other "puffy" jackets I have worn. So far so good, really enjoying this jacket.

im 6'2'' 210 pounds. This jacket fits and looks good but i will need to return for a large as the meduim does not have enough space in the armpit area, even while static.
Also not really a problem as a design flaw but there are 3 pockets visible on the inside of the jacket, i really wished they sewed the bottom of these pockets so you would have 3 more pockets inside the jacket (basically getting 3 more inside pockets for a 3 simple stiches.)
Lastly i wish the cuff was a little more refined. More adjustable (velcro) or maybe a cotton cuff (as it is more of a casual wear item)
negatives aside. overall i do like it. arms seem durable, looks good, love the colors, and all the pockets that it does have. perfect for a light mid layer or by itself around town

Great product. Really good looking piece. However I'm 5,8 160 and the medium fits really well in the body but it is tight under the arms. Which means that I can't really layer much underneath it comfortably. Just wish it was a little roomier in the one area. YMMV.

The jacket is very well built. It is a bit snug under the arms restricting my ability to layer but it fits fine with a light shirt underneath. The next size up would be too big and bulky. The only real hangup I have with it is the color isn't even close to what the website shows. I ordered the basil / juniper and the product that showed up was the ugliest military green ever (think those little green plastic soldiers we used to play with). There isn't even any contrast between the 2 colors like on the website. None the less it is a decent piece of kit. *** I have officially left the WAY over priced Dead Bird Society for Outdoor Research***.
