I was very pleased with these boots. Although I haven't worn them in the winter yet, they appear to be very well insulated. I also like the style and waterproofing. I normally take a size 12 shoe, but I ordered these in a 13 and they fit very well with a pair of heavy socks. I wish they had metal eyelets for lacing instead of cloth, as I'm afraid the cloth may break over time. Also, many boots have open eyelets at the top for quick lacing, but these have the cloth loops all the way up. One nice feature is the metal eyelet for hooking gaiters. Overall, I'm pleased with these. A great value for the price compared to other winter boots.

Early review to warn others, these ran half size small.

Ordered a 16 W because I normally wear a 15 4E. The 16 W was to big. So will exchange for the 15 W.

Order 1 size up. I have the previous model in size 15, but had to get these in a 16.

Most comfortable boots ive ever worn. But working outside all day doing roadwork feet started to get cold after an hour. But amazing for walking the dog or shoveling the driveway.

Good quality boot but buy 1 size larger than usual for a comfortable fit

Columbia Winter boots are great, this is my 3rd pair, my only complaint is they are running a little small on sizes, I normally wear a 9.5 but probably should have got a 10

I'm only writing this because I've receive no fewer than 3 emails from Columbia asking me to write a review. It's too soon! These are winter boots and it hasn't snowed enough in Denver to use them yet. I had my previous pair for probably 20 years and had worn them with snowshoes for many of those years. These seem nice, warm, good colors, feel comfortable around the house, but give me a couple of months for the weather to be appropriate to wear them.

Great boot for comfort, warmth and waterproof. These run small and even the wide width is more narrow than the origional Bugaboot. Had to order up a full size

Well made boots. I bought 1 size larger than I normally wear. Wish I would have gone a size and 1/2 larger. The tops are very stiff and wore scars on my legs. I wear them with the laces tied half way up. Not as warm in cold weather as I expected, so you need to order 2 sizes larger to give your toes wiggle room to stay warm.

Snug. Had to go up 1/2 size. Comfortable. Can't wait to put on snowshoes

I've ordered these with the hope of evaluating and getting some use but unfortunately we've received little to any snow. Therefore my review is limited. I did order these shoes base and on my current size but had to order one size larger. So if you're planning on wearing anything other than thin socks, I would highly recommend upsizing.

Good looking boot, well designed, excellent quality.. It does run small. suggest at least 1 size above. Not 1/2. you need room for thick socks.. If you need arch support, this boot has none. An insert works well in this case. It also runs thin even on the Wide model. production line needs to look into this. I had to return it and get a larger size. well made boot otherwise. Recommending only in accepting that size is not accurate.

Work well for shoveling snow or walking the dog in cold and snowy Michigan winters.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them! Comfortable and keep him feet warm & dry when outside playing with the kids. Now he can stop borrowing my winter boots!

My husband is 15W so thankfully we tried these on before putting them under the tree. The toe box is too narrow of a fit, even in the Wide that we ordered so sadly they will be going back. The construction of the boot itself looks like great quality and we hope to find another style that fits.

I purchased the Men's Bugaboot III Boot - Wide for my husband. He said he could have used a half size larger due to the snug fit. This boot is very warm with tons of cushion inside of the interior. The boot is heavy duty, rugged and handled last year's NYC snow storm flawlessly. I would recommend this product for anyone who is faced with rough winters.

I've been buying Columbia boots for over 14 years. Always happy with their boots. Now my kids are insisting on having these boots in their lives.

I bought these for my partner, who has extremely wide feet. Length-wise, he wears a size 11.5-12 but usually has to size up due to width. For these boots, the size 13 fit best for him, even though they are wider than the normal ones. This still works though, and they don't slip or anything. He says they're functional and are especially warm, but the shoe is relatively stiff out of the box (which was expected).

These boots look like they'll be waterproof- at least for a while. Quality looks good and the size is right. Price was good.
