I ordered two sizes and my usual size, 11, turned out to fit well. They are a tad heavy and bulky, but I suspect they will provide great protection during some activities such as snow shoeing or hiking with micro-spikes on during the winter. Not quite as light as prior Columbia boots, but will work well for their intended purposes. The height is excellent for snow protection. I can always leave top laces free of aglets to provide more comfort when wearing around town/casually.

The boot fit well, and the size designation (11) was correct. The boot is a tad heavy and stiff, but offers great protection against the elements and will, I suspect, perform well with snowshoes, microspikes etc necessary for some outdoor recreation.

The boot or atleast the pair I ordered fit really tight even though I ordered a size up and the wide wasn't wide. I'm a 10 so I ordered an 11 W.

Great boots for the price. I love the fact that they make these in wide. They are not as warm as I thought they would be, but they are not bad either. I'd say for 20-30 degree weather, they work great. Once you get to the teens or before, the cold will get through.

Bought these boots for varied winter use, everything from gives in snow to playing with the kids. They just work, no fuzz about them. Smaller in size, I take 11.5-12 depending on brand and fit and these work well in a 13.

The boots are well constructed and are solid. They have a good, comfortable feel to them. The sole is rugged and solid. There is enough warmth for cold temps but they aren't too warm for every day use. The fit is higher on the calf and I didn't like that so I returned them for that reason. I planned on using them for winter hikes and decided I wanted a lower boot.

Very durable 3-season boot. The 200 grams of insulation becomes uncomfortable in the dog days of summer. I work in wet conditions 12 hours a day and these hold up better than any other I have tried

This is a solidly built boot with excellent ankle and foot support as well as excellent waterproofing. The lacing system is great and together with the construction, imparts a very secure feeling in uncertain terrain. Deep snow traction is excellent, packed snow - middling - this doesn't have enough bite to feel very confident or maintain pace. Ice even less so, though most boots without studs aren't really meant for ice anyways. Cushioning is very good, not plush, but not too firm either. It's usable for long hikes even with my 240 pounds. I was very warm in 15F degree weather and feel confident this would take me down to subzero temps - in fact, I didn't even need my usual merino wool socks with this boot. In terms of fit, the wide worked very well for me, but the shoe tends to run at least a half size long for its stated size. I wish I had gone a half size down before using this.

I was very pleased with these boots. Although I haven't worn them in the winter yet, they appear to be very well insulated. I also like the style and waterproofing. I normally take a size 12 shoe, but I ordered these in a 13 and they fit very well with a pair of heavy socks. I wish they had metal eyelets for lacing instead of cloth, as I'm afraid the cloth may break over time. Also, many boots have open eyelets at the top for quick lacing, but these have the cloth loops all the way up. One nice feature is the metal eyelet for hooking gaiters. Overall, I'm pleased with these. A great value for the price compared to other winter boots.

Ordered a 16 W because I normally wear a 15 4E. The 16 W was to big. So will exchange for the 15 W.

Most comfortable boots ive ever worn. But working outside all day doing roadwork feet started to get cold after an hour. But amazing for walking the dog or shoveling the driveway.

Columbia Winter boots are great, this is my 3rd pair, my only complaint is they are running a little small on sizes, I normally wear a 9.5 but probably should have got a 10

I'm only writing this because I've receive no fewer than 3 emails from Columbia asking me to write a review. It's too soon! These are winter boots and it hasn't snowed enough in Denver to use them yet. I had my previous pair for probably 20 years and had worn them with snowshoes for many of those years. These seem nice, warm, good colors, feel comfortable around the house, but give me a couple of months for the weather to be appropriate to wear them.

Great boot for comfort, warmth and waterproof. These run small and even the wide width is more narrow than the origional Bugaboot. Had to order up a full size

They are one size larger. If you're a 9.5 US like me get a 10.5 US, you're a 8 US get a 9 US. Other than that these are amazing! Comfortable and break-in time is moderate. I did replace the sole with a better quality pair but that's cause I'm picky. Thanks for reading, hope this was helpful.

I had an earlier pair of Columbia boots that I wore for a number of years, but which finally wore out and started leaking. For the new boots I needed a half size larger (10 1/2 versus 10 for the earlier boot), but otherwise they fit well, and so far have functioned well. If they last as well as the earlier pair, then I will be very happy.
