These are exactly what I needed. Comfortable, warm and waterproof. I've used them so far on a cold and rainy fishing trip. Feet were happy.

I bought this after buying a pair of Merrell mid hiking boots that became my favorite casual shoes for winter. The boots are warm, waterproof, and have a great sole for gripping on icy surfaces. Normally, I take a size 10.5 running shoe in Asics, Adidas or Nike, but I found the Merrell 10 was about right for me. So, Merrell's seem to run just a half size large. The only complaint is that the laces tend to become loose with a single knot. That is easily remedied with a double loop knot.

I was looking for a light weight, non-bulky pair of waterproof boots, to be used for hiking or running in wet conditions, off trail. I used them on a couple of pretty rough hikes already and they've been great. No time needed to break them in - they're ready to go. Comfortable. Warm. Great ankle support which is great for me as I'm always twisting them! They come with a lug at the base of the laces to attach my gaiters - why doesn't every boot come with these lugs? Great traction, too. So far, then, top-notch!

Very happy with this purchase. I don't have a single complaint. Boot is lightweight, warm, comfortable, easy to get on and off, waterproof and provides great traction on snow. Wouldn't change a thing.

Nice and high on the ankle (a bit more than my Thermo 6's, which I also love). They are incredibly confortable with great snow and ice traction. Just enough insulation to keep your feet warm while moving. There's not one thing I would change on these boots. Great product, Merrell!

This boot has been perfect for me. They're warm (even in the recent arctic freeze of '19), they were immediately comfortable, they fit well with room enough for an extra pair of socks (if desired..although I haven't had to do that yet because the boots keep my feet warm with one pair), they keep my feet dry in wet, sloshy snow, they are easy to get on and off and lace up, they look sharp. I have used them for running errands around town in fresh snow, wet snow, melting snow, and I have used them to shovel snow in my driveway. They have never once disappointed me. In fact, I put them on and then forget I have them on.

Bought these for farm work, like all8 pair of Merrill I own these fit perfect. Great support, for a winter boot can't believe how light weight they are, plan to order a 2nd air for hunting next fall.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He had a choice between these and waterproof boots from another outdoor boot company. He chose to keep these because of the comfort, arch support.

My girlfriend and I are in the the process of our thru hike of the Appalachian trail. When it got colder we knew we had to switch to a warmer boot. And of course comfort is always important when hiking the amount we do. We have really enjoyed these boots so far. They are definitely warm, to warm if your not hiking in the cold. We are very happy with them. For the price they are great boots and super comfy!

This is a comfortable boot, warm and waterproof. Traction is good. I haven't had them long enough to judge wear.

I've only owned these for a short time so things like how well they last will have to wait. They are very comfortable right out of the box and I was a little wary of the lacing since all my previous boots have had metal eyes and hooks. These are a pleasure to lace up and loosen to take the boots off. I guess I'm just having trouble with change in my old age but this is a positive change. It has only been in the low 30 degrees so far and my feet have been kept toasty so no complaints there.

I was looking for a boot that would be comfortable and warm when I ride my far bike in the snow. These have been awesome! They are warm, dry, and really comfortable. I am looking forward to using these hiking and snowshoeing as well. Great boot!

These are very comfortable, and most importantly they have really good arch support for my feet with high arches, and they are comfortable to hike in. I had Columbia Bugaboot III with Omni Heat that are warm, but flat insoles that give no support for my winter walking and hikes in snow throughout nature. That leaves the tendon spanning the inside of my foot under my arches hurting and strained after long walks. Good grips on these Merrell boots also! They feel more like a hiking boot that maneuvers like a shoe instead of a clunky winter boot. I do feel they are generous on space so I'd say they are slightly bigger than the standard size, but perhaps they're allowing for thick hiking socks (which I haven't worn with these boots yet). Well worth the money! This is my first pair of Merrell's. I do hope the quality holds up over time as I've just received these recently.

My initial review is that the boot is comfortable, fits well and offers good grip on snow, mud and grass. I've worn these boots maybe a week. It fits a bit taller than most of the mid height boots, which is good, keeps the deeper snow out of your boots. They're plenty warm (haven't used them in really cold weather (< 25F) yet. The grip is really good. Good spacing on the lugs and deep to bite into whatever surface you're traversing. I appreciate the water proof feature. Playing disc golf with wet feet is no fun.

I bought six different pairs of boots - of all different brands - to try on for my trip to Iceland. I am a female, but I wear a size 12+ so I was worried about wearing men's shoes and having them be too bulky or too ugly! As soon as I put these on, I knew they were perfect. I wore them everyday around Iceland - on hikes, through cold water, in the rain, and I was so grateful to have warm, dry feet. They were so comfortable, held up well, and are completely waterproof. I was sad when my trip was over because I wouldn't get to wear these boots everyday. I'm anxiously awaiting colder weather in my hometown so I can wear them again! Do not hesitate to buy these!

Good quality boot for fall and winter. I wore them for one day while on a Turkey hunt and think they need just a couple days to break them in. They were a little heavier than the boots I usually wear at this time of year but not much more. Will make a good winter boot.

Great traction outside while cleaning car. Only thing I dislike is the shoelaces come untied easily! Warm and also used for ankle support after I broke my ankle to walk around the house in instead of ankle support

I bought these for winter disc golf in Minnesota. First time out was for a 3.5 hour round, 15 and about 5ins of snow. My feet stayed warm and completely dry the entire time. The grip on concrete tee pads, some were a little icy, was fantastic.
