I bought these after making a bad purchase of another brand. I ordered online and even w/o having tried them on first, I knew they would be comfortable as I wanted them to be. The only downside is I can hardly lace them to the top, first because the laces don't stay in the loops once we pass them through and once I manage to get them laced, they become a little too tight around the ankle. I have to say they're a tight fit too, I have to force my heels in but once they're in, the sizing is good. Still like them though.

I have had these boots for quite a while now and wear them fairly frequently in the winter HOWEVER...after 1 month the lining opened up on one of the boots and the material ages very quickly.

I love Salomon shoes, I have had at least a dozen different models and have enjoyed all of them. This model shoe/boot doesn't fit my foot. The shoe/boot is very narrow, I struggle to get into it and once in I can't stay for more than 30 minutes. I ordered the same size I usually do, but this one doesn't work. It's a good looking shoe/boot and seems to be functional but I can't keep it on my foot. I don't have an irregular foot and I am very surprised by this. I will keep buying salomon shoes but this one just didn't work.
